Dr. Stephanie Teotia did my reconstructive surgery after my double mastectomy. The amount of attention to detail and care she and her team provided is absolutely incredible. As a cancer patient, to be honest, the last thing I was worried about was perfect boobs lol, but Dr. Teotia did her thing, and I will forever be grateful to her and her team! I chose Dr. Teotia and told both my breast surgeon and oncologist that I wanted all my medical team to be top-notch and that I was willing to drive whatever the distance was. With that being said, I would definitely recommend Dr. Stephanie Teotia!! I am incredibly pleased!
Dr. Teotia I don’t think I have thanked you enough for the wonderful job you did on my Breast Reduction/Lift. I love the results and really felt that you and your staff took such good care of me. The healing has been quick and I feel normal again (and have felt normal for weeks now). Thank you so much again!
My experience with Dr. Teotia and her team has been wonderful. Dr. Teotia is a kind and skilled surgeon who truly cares for her patients. She listened to all of my concerns and thoroughly explained all treatment options. I felt at ease throughout the process thanks to her warm and friendly demeanor, combined with her medical expertise. I love my results and would highly recommend her to anyone.
Putting my plastic surgery in Dr. Teotia’s care was one of the wises decisions I have made. On my first consultation, she listened attentively to my concerns and my hopes for my results. She explained what she could do and how the surgery would be done. No question I had was brushed off but answered in detail. Her calm manner set my mind at ease. My surgery was relatively painless with constant verbal verification from Dr. Teotia that I was comfortable and doing well. It is three weeks now. I have had two follow up visit and could not be more pleased with the care and outcome of my surgery.
I had face/necklift with Dr Teotia, in her office, about 3 weeks ago, and am extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Teotia is truly a gifted surgeon and her staff could not be more caring and attentive. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Teotia and her staff are amazing people. I felt comfortable and excited during my consult and she was able to schedule my surgery soon after. This was my first surgery and as soon as I took off the sports bra you come home with from surgery, I was in LOVE with my new boobs! Dr. Teotia knew exactly the look I was going for and I am so thankful for her work.
I had a fairly large mole on my face that bothered me for years that I finally decided to remove to see if my quality of life would get better. Since the procedure the scar is virtually gone, she did an awesome job with the stitches. I'm actually thinking of going back to her to see about another removal.
Dr. Teotia is a phenomenal plastic surgeon who saved my body from a disagreeing bag of plastic, and gave me back my sense of sexuality. As women we all want to feel sexy, although that term is relative, in this particular case I THOUGHT having larger breasts would enhance my self confidence. But that simple assumption in of itself is exactly what was wrong with my state of mind at the time of my first procedure. I digress... In 2014, I had small, moderate profile gummy implants put in behind the muscle by a doctor in Houston named Dr. Basu. (Not the nicest or warmest doctor in the world, but I just figured that was normal for a plastic surgeon) At first, I was pleased with the outcome, but 6 months later I developed capsular contracture on my right breast. I went back to Houston to have it fixed, except this time Dr. Basu did not take any steps to reassure capsular contracture did not happen again. He did not make a new pocket, he did not replace the smooth implant with a textured implant, and he did not put me on any of the preventative medications. Predictably so, I developed it again 9 months later on the same breast. Having a hard, lopsided breast for the second time was far from ideal, and in my opinion, completely unacceptable. And considering Capsular contracture only happens to about 10-15% of patients, I was at my whits end when it happened to me twice. I began to abhor my own breasts because of how they felt and looked, which literally robbed me of my self confidence. Naturally, that's when I decided I needed to completely remove them. There were so many terrifying conundrums that attributed my choice to impede this process as long as possible. But finally after concluding that I didn't really have a choice, I knew finding the best doctor was imperative, and that's when I found Dr. Teotia. I was a complete mess and deeply discouraged of any positive outcome from removing my implants, but when I sat down with Dr. Teotia, I knew she was going to be the surgeon I was going to use. She explained to me that I was a good candidate for the removal of breast implants after considering my age, the length of time I had them for, their size, and not having had any children. She discussed openly with me her plans, her expectations, and her concerns, and after she assessed my issue, she gave me a step by step breakdown of what she proposed to do the day of surgery. Removing your breast implants is a scary procedure, simply because there is never a guarantee and every body and breast is different, but I felt confident in her warm, encouraging words. I knew she had the experience with implant removal, and after about 20 minutes of detailed conversation, I scheduled my appointment. I am now 5 weeks post op and could not feel BETTER! I simply cannot emphasize enough how GOOD I feel. I was so afraid that my breasts were going to look like deflated balloons, but boy let me tell you, I LOVE the way my natural breasts look, and feels. My right breast needed a little more work, so that side is going to take a bit longer to heal and "fluff", but I have no complaints. My scars are also disappearing very quickly. I have the deepest gratitude for Dr. Teotia not only for the way she handled and analyzed my problem, but for her self confidence in her own practice. I feel MORE confident now, than I did before I had my implants put in. I actually want to wear low cut shirts and show off my natural breasts, sex is ecstasy again (sorry if that's tmi, but that was a huge factor), I can sleep like a child once more, and I look better in clothes! From her deeply needed encouraging words and reassurance, to her incredible skillfulness in the surgery room, I cannot recommend this surgeon to enough people, she's amazing. Thank you Thank you Thank you Dr. Teotia for allowing me to feel alive again!
I was so afraid of getting filler under my eyes that I waited 3 years to pull the trigger. I researched a lot of professionals and ended up paying a few more dollars to go with Dr. Teotia -- a plastic surgeon -- and they were dollars well spent. I could not have asked for a better result! As a fair skinned, redhead: I knew I would bruise. Even knowing that, it was hard to wait a whole week (really about 2-3 weeks for the best result) without getting worried. I went back in after 1 week and Dr. Teotia assured me to keep waiting a few more days and it would get better. She was very patient with me - and she was right! By week three my eyes looked great! I don't think I can ever go back to the before pics again!
I was very worried and apprehensive after seeing the large hole that the mohs surgeon created in removing a relatively small basal cell skin cancer spot above my upper lip in the area of my philtrum. Dr Teotia definitely had her work cut out for her, no pun intended, in repairing the area and making me look relatively normal, . She did a fantastic job and I am more pleased with how it looks just one week after the surgery than I anticipated. I highly recommend Dr Teotia.
Thank you for your question. After Aveli treatment, sitting is perfectly fine and will not impact your results; however, some discomfort is normal during the first few days. Many of our patients find that using a donut-shaped pillow can help make sitting more comfortable during this recovery period.
Thank you for your question, and congratulations on the progress you've made with your weight loss so far! Ideally, it's recommended to be within 10 pounds of your target weight before undergoing surgery. As you mentioned, significant weight loss after surgery can affect the final result, which is why reaching your goal weight beforehand is important. Liposuction is effective for removing small pockets of fat and improving body contour, but it's not intended as a solution for substantial weight loss. Additionally, BMI is a key consideration. Many surgical procedures have specific BMI requirements, as a higher BMI (above 35) can increase risks related to anesthesia and recovery. A full tummy tuck is beneficial for creating a flatter abdominal appearance. It involves tightening the underlying muscles and trimming away excess loose skin. I would encourage you to continue working towards your goal of losing the additional 60 pounds. Once you approach your target weight and if your BMI is below 35, you should be a great candidate for liposuction and tummy tuck based on your photos. Keep up the fantastic work!
Candidacy for a breast lift relies on specific breast measurements that help guide the assessment. For example, the sternal notch to nipple distance measures breast position. This measurement starts at your sternal notch, located at the dip in your clavicle, and extends to the nipple. Ideally, this distance is between 18cm and 22cm. From your photos, it appears you would be a good candidate for a small lift. However, if you are happy with the position of your breasts and are only looking to increase breast size, implants alone may achieve the look you desire. Implants come in a range of sizes and profiles. An implant that offers more fullness at the top may be better suited if you want to avoid a lift. I recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss your options. Wishing you the best.
I have offered Cellfina in my practice for 6+ years. Understanding the structural cause of cellulite is important when choosing the best treatment. - Fibrous bands pull down on the skin causing the dimples that you see on the surface of the skin. The Cellfina system releases each band individually in order to allow the skin to smooth itself out. Bruising, soreness and swelling are expected but you can return to normal activities within 2-3 days. Water activities can resume once incision areas are fully healed.
You have a nice, natural result. You look rejuvenated which is what most patients desire. However, when the swelling goes away so does some of the fullness. Ask your surgeon if she would recommend dermal filler to add volume and lift to the cheek area.
