Dr. Meade was inspired to go into aesthetic medicine because he enjoys the unique challenge of exceeding his patients’ face & body goals. Delivering incredible results that are natural-looking and proportional. Dr. Meade is wonderful! I can't sing his praises enough! I am so happy with my results. He did a breast reduction and then months later an extended tummy tuck with lipo. And my results are amazing!! I recommend him to anyone. His bedside manner is awesome as well and he truly wants what's best for the patient. He works with everyone individually for their own vision not his own.
I underwent a composite facelift with Dr. Meade in July, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Six months later, not only do I look fantastic, but I also feel rejuvenated and confident. Dr. Meade's expertise in achieving natural-looking results is truly remarkable. One of the most impressive aspects of Dr. Meade's approach is his ability to create a subtle transformation. Numerous people have commented on how great I look and how I seem to have a newfound youthfulness, yet they don't suspect a facelift. This speaks volumes about Dr. Meade's skill and finesse in ensuring that the procedure is not overdone but just right. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, Dr. Meade and his team, including Heather, Maria, and Allison, have provided an unparalleled level of service. What sets them apart is their commitment to personalized care and attention. Each team member generously shared their personal cell phone numbers, and they were actively checking on me during the critical days following the surgery. This level of care significantly contributed to my comfort and overall positive experience. Dr. Meade's approach involves taking the time to understand your desires, offering expert advice on what can be realistically accomplished, and then working diligently to achieve your shared goals. His commitment to ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience sets him apart in the field. Furthermore, as someone with prior experiences in plastic surgery I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Meade and his exceptional team to anyone considering cosmetic procedures. Their professionalism, skill, and genuine care make them the go-to choice for those seeking outstanding results in a warm and supportive environment. Dr. Meade has truly made a positive impact on my life, and I am grateful for the wonderful experience.
Dr. Meade is a caring and professional surgeon. Several years ago I had a tummy tuck and breast lift. They were very successful and the care I received prior to the surgeries, the day of, and the after surgery care was top notch. I completed two other procedures last year. An upper eye lift and a thigh lift. I followed all the recommendations for pre surgery and the surgeries have been very successful. I am 100% pleased with my care by Dr. Meade and his team. I highly recommend them.

Dr Meade has been very helpful in transforming my body. He originally did my BBL and I just finished getting my tummy tuck. I'm satisfied with him and I recommend him, if you need plastic surgery. He is very gentle and will listen to your concerns, as well as, explain in very detail what he will do. He gets two thumbs up from a second time patient.
Dr. Meade and his team are the best!! Im so happy with my results. My boobs look so natural and size is perfect!! Kudos to Maria for always being very helpful and answering all my questions. I highly recommend Dr Meade. He is a great doctor and cares for his patients.
Dr. Meade has performed a variety of procedures for me. All of them have been highly successful. Some I was told by other physicians I was turned away from as not being possible, but Dr. Meade was highly confident that he could perform. He has always come through with flying colors. This latest procedure of transferring fat from my tummy to my face surprised us all by how successful it has been. Above all, he is just a great person who has always taken me seriously and always come up with surprisingly creative solutions. I have recommended my friends to him without hesitation. His staff is also great! Thank you Dr. Meade.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Meade. He takes his time with you and answers all your questions. He’s an artist and a perfectionist and wants your results to be exactly what you want. He is patient and has the best bedside manner. He makes you feel at ease. He cares so much for all of his patients and it’s just so apparent. I could go on and on, but just go meet with him. You’ll see exactly what I mean!
Don't go anywhere else. I did the homework for you. Dr. Ricardo Meade truly loves his job and cares for his patients. He's board certified, I checked his creditials with the board itself and it came valid unlike many surgeons out there. He will NOT over-charge you or insist on unnecessary procedures. His surgeries are performed in a modern, safe and highly-controlled surgery facility and his entire staff are trained and experienced. It's crucial that you choose someone with his creditials. Plastic surgery is not something you can cut corners with. Especially with mommy makeovers and BBLs. I am a 35 year-old mom of two babies. I was 6 months postpartum when I decided to have a mommy makeover. Problem areas: sagging breasts with implants, one of them was three inches bigger, unwanted fat around the waist, and flat butt. The 10 year-old implants were also causing me discomfort and pain. Overall, I was average looking mommy. My review will be divided into three parts: pre-op, op-day, post-op. Pre-op: I was 116 pounds and needed fat redistribution with bbl, ex-plant and lift. I went to two in-person consultions and one virtual before meeting Dr. Meade. All three doctors insisted on a tummy tuck even though I didn't have any saggy skin around my waist. When I met Dr. Meade he said "you don't need a tummy tuck". I was so happy to hear this. I wanted to avoid the scar and the long post-op recovery of a TT. I scheduled my surgery on the spot with his amazing staff. We decided on mini bbl with lipo, ex-plant, and breast lift. Op-day: Dr. Meade performs his surgeries at a state-of-the-art facility called Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. It's located on the same level as his office. The staff and the nurses were welcoming and kept my husband informed about my status while I was in surgery. Dr. Meade spoke to my husband after the surgery and gave him his number to answer any questions. He didn't have to do that, it was very sweet. I was put in a compression garment and bra and I was impressed with them. They were expensive, high quality garments. I appreciated the attention to details and the effort to keep patients comfortable. I bought the same garments when I went back home the same day. I did text Dr. Meade a question and he replied within an hour. He's truly caring. Post-op: The most important part of the review is "trust the process". I looked swollen, my butt was huge. However, my breasts looked amazing right away! Surprisingly, the breast lift precedure was less painful. The liposuction and bbl needed post-op care at-home. Dr. Meade's staff provided all the information I needed for a speedy recovery. After 5 weeks, I look absolutely fabulous. I used to be a gym-holic and my body wasn't as perfect then than it is now, after two babies! I weigh 110 pounds, I have a thin waist, beautiful perky breasts and a butt proportionate to my body size. You need to trust the process, your body will heal and reveal the beautiful "new you". Dr. Meade knew exactly how much fat to put in my butt to make it nice and round yet not overly-big like most bbls out there. My breast lift looks amazing and the surgical scars are minimum. Most importantly, my healing process was fast, I'm healthy, I had zero complications with my BBL because like I mentioned above he's a qualified surgeon who knows the anatomy of the body and the safe areas to inject the fat when performing a bbl precedure. You'll be back safely with your family and kids and a beautiful body that you can show off. He's a miracle worker. I'm thankful to this man for making me love my body. I will post photos of the process once I complete my journey.
I don't even know where to start from expressing how impressed and happy I am about my breast augmentation with Dr. Meade and his staff. I knew Dr. Meade was the one after my first consultation with him. Dr. Meade, Maria, Heather, and Allison made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. In my first consultation Dr. Meade attended me personally and I told him what I wanted from my surgery and he gave me exactly what I wanted! Also leading to the surgery any questions I had were answered quickly by Maria, Heather, and Allison they were a great help and also made me feel more comfortable. When I was unsure about what size to get for implants Maria told me to go back to the office to try on sizes and make sure I was sure about my implant size. When I went back Maria, Heather, Allison, and Dr. Meade were all there to make sure I was comfortable and gave great importance on what size I wanted which was a great help for me! The day of surgery I was a bit nervous but when I got to the office I eased and started to get comfortable because the staff and Dr. Meade made me feel very welcomed. I am currently 6 weeks post-op and my results are amazing! Dr. Meade gave me the cleavage and fullness that I wanted. When I go to my post-op consultations they continue to make me feel comfortable and are very attentive to my recovery process. Dr. Meade, Maria, Heather, and Allison are awesome! Without a doubt I 100% recommend them!
It can be done, but the more revisions you have, the more challenging these cases get. Often I'll find unexpected areas of alleged mesh and other areas where mesh is expected but has been absorbed. That is an uncommon risk of some of the absorbable mesh for which I prefer the biologics. Your question is complex and requires consultation, but hopefully this is somewhat helpful. It would last nearly indefinitely when properly placed depending on the tissues. I prefer to secure the mesh to the ribs. That lasts. Price? Highly variable. Some need mastopexy, new mesh, fat transfer...
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing complications from surgery. Typically health insurance does not cover complications that are a result of cosmetic surgery. All plans are different, so you will need to speak with your insurance provider to verify what is covered. Your plastic surgeon's office should be able to provide you with procedure and diagnosis codes that you can relay to your insurance company. We include CosmetAssure as part of our patient's surgery package. It covers the cost of most out-of-pocket expenses from complications that may arise after having cosmetic surgery. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Thank you for your question. Post-operative itching along the incision is very common during the early healing phase. As far as when to apply something topically to provide some relief, it depends how your incision was closed. If your incision was closed with internal sutures and glue on the outside, you will want to wait until the glue has come off before applying anything. Anything you apply is unable to penetrate the glue. Basic rule of thumb is that you want to make sure that all of your incision is entirely closed, and there aren't any open or irritated areas. At that point it is normally safe to apply a topical treatment. I recommend Biocorneum, which contains medical grade silicone to help the incision flatten, soften, and become less red. They also make a product called Biocorneum HC which contains Hydrocortisone. That will help provide you with some relief from itching. I would recommend following up with your surgeon. Best of luck on your journey!
Thank you for your question. In order to do a full tummy tuck the incision would extend into the tattoo. You could do a mini tummy tuck (shorter incision) and potentially avoid the tattoo. But the shorter the incision the less skin you are able to remove. So the results would be limited to the lowest portion of the abdomen. Best of luck on your cosmetic surgery journey!
Hard areas underneath the incision can occur during the healing process after having a tummy tuck. It can take 6-12 months before you see your final result. What you're describing is more than likely scar tissue, but could also be an undissolved suture. Massaging any hard areas tends to break up excess scar tissue, but I would recommend following up with your surgeon. Best wishes!
