I've had my breast implants for many years and am starting to consider whether I should remove or replace them. Just wanting to hear from other women who have had implants for a long time and find out what they did.

I got lymphoma (ALCL) caused by my implants and I have to have them removed. The oncologist says I should never put new ones back in, but I'm super-flat without. Scared :( Does anyone know if it's possible to put in implants two years later under the muscle? (The ones I'm removing are 280cc Allergan biocell Cohesive Gel Textured 410 implants). The surgeon at Memorial Sloan said I can't put...

I just had implants placed three days ago and all my initial worries/hesitations seem to be weighing me down now.  My girlfriends expressed how great implants are and how much I would love them, and I am not.   I am worried they are too big and just not me.  Is this normal after surgery or have I made a terrible mistake?

I had my implants placed 03 April 2012.  I never slept comfortable after having implants.  From 5 months I started having severe panic attacs and insomnia.  Due to the fact that I am not sleeping I have now been diagnosed with depression.  My implants do not have complications.  Phycologically I am aware of them 24 hours a day and I loved sleeping on my tummy.  I want to know if anyone has h...

I'm having my implants removed under local anesthesia soon!  Just wondering if any of you ladies have done it this way?  My doctor said it will only take 45 min but I'm starting to get a little nervous.

They were fine for years, no problems at all since 1978,  but years of mammograms probably contributed to both being ruptured now, although you can't tell visually.  Besides, I'm tired of not being able to do yoga correctly, or some exercises.  I'll be small again, but am soooooo looking forward to this.  Found a fabulous surgeon in Ft. Lauderdale, supremely qualified &...

Hi all,So thankful for this site and all the information and support from all of you lovely ladies!   I am explanting in March which seems like so far away

My implants are beneath the pectoral muscle. My wonderful surgeon who did the surgery died prematurely so I have no access to my medical records.  However, the name Dow Corning rings a bell--I had had saline implants previously and I hated them.  I remember my doctor showing me these gel forms that resembled Steuben glass---and he demonstrated how naturally they moved.  And I...

Had my consultation today, went really well.   Having mine out in the 3rd. He said I have enough tissue so I'm happy.
