I had a revision rhinoplasty, six months ago. He brought my nasal bones in because it was wide after my first rhinoplasty, he thinned out my bulbous tip and brought the tip down because it was upturned. Now I feel like my tip is to small. Any advice would be great , thank you!
I had a complex septo-rhinoplasty revision using ear grafts 6 months ago. Currently my nose is uneven, lumpy, and lacks any tip definition. I have thick skin i was told. Is this swelling? Is there hope this result will improve much?
I had a revision rhino/septoplasty 6 months ago to resolve two small, sunken divots in my anterior lateral cartilage that developed after a car crash. My surgeon placed diced septal cartilage grafts, but didn't do any other external work& no other areas were really swollen. However, I have significant swelling where one of the grafts was placed. It looks like a grain of rice was sewn under my skin. Im worried the graft is too large. Is this normal? I have medium skin thickness.
Hi Doctors, I'm unhappy with the result of my revision rhinoplasty -- the grafts that were put into the nose made it very large. I'm 6 months post op and my doctor is willing to operate now for another revision. I know the general consensus is to wait a year, but how risky is it to undergo surgery now? Thanks in advance!
I had my rhinoplasty just over 6 months ago. My nose tip is still bumpy but he said its soft tissue swelling. The swelling has persisted and now Im scared I have scar tissue. Do I need a revision? I have attached a photo so you can see my nose tip
6 months PO revision rhinoplasty where a septal extension graft, spreader grafts, rib grafts, etc were moved. My nose is long, overprojected, and grafts show through my skin. But above that, I have this intense pressure in my left sinus. It feels like a poking sensation. I sound conjested, my nose is constantly runny. Could this be a result of oversized/improperly placed grafts? I plan on getting an in person assessment as well.
I got a nose job 6 months ago and as you can see, too much cartilage was taken off from my dorsum a in order to build my tip that lacked cartilage. Now I have a tip thats too projected and a bridge that doesnt match the tip. Am I able to get a more harmonious and less curved nose? And will this require a rib graft? Is there any possibility of the tip becoming shorter throughout the healing process, or should I already be looking into revision?
I am 25 and underwent a primary rhinoplasty 6 months ago. I am concerned about the outward curvature of my nose on both sides but primarily on my right side. I was originally told I could do an in-office rasping to resolve this issue. Now I am told that I need to go under at the surgery center to fix the issue. Is it possible this hard bump is swelling or is it likely that it is bone that needs revision surgery? Looking for a second opinion. Thank you!
I had a closed septorhinoplasty in 2018, in which mostly only the bridge was aesthetically amended, however the septum unfortunately was not fully fixed. Then in spring 2023, I had an OPEN septorhinoplasty to fix the septum, smoooth out a dorsal jump that was left over from primary surgery and fix a hanging columealla. my existing septal reserve cartilage was used so no rib graft or ear graft was used. I am now 6 months and notice my swelling beneath the keystone area of nose stagnating
Hi, I had a rhinoplasty done in Colombia 6 months ago to slim the bridge of my nose. As of now I am not happy with my results. My nose was shorten and to upturn. My nostrils are so exposed. Nothing was done to the bridge. I went to a couple of doctors in my area. Some said to wait 12 months and some said they can do it now. What would go wrong if I go through the revision surgery after 6 months? My nose feels normal and physically I have no swelling.
