Is 6 months enough for a revision rhinoplasty? (Photo)

We have offered patients revision rhinoplasty as early as 6 months post-operative when there is little to no residual swelling from the initial surgery. We can see on your photos that you have an overprojected nasal profile with a droopy tip appearance. Please consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists who offer computer Imaging so you can see what might be best for you moving forward. You absolutely still have swelling at 6mo- in fact, patients report they still see changes to their nose even 3-5 years after surgery. the risk of doing the surgery too soon is that your nose has not had enough time to recover from the first surgery, meaning that you are putting the skin at risk for infection, ischemia (decreased blood flow), necrosis (Dead tissue), and other complications.
