Good evening, I had Juverderm tear through injections 15 months ago. Recently Ive noticed a lump under my right eye. During the last year I had a couple of flu infections during which my tear through area got swollen and painful for a few days, I dont know if this can be connected. Im a bit worried for the lump, is it a filler deposit? What about granuloma? Ive already planned to see my doctor, however I would still like some opinions. Thank you very much (photo included).
I have had 2.5 ml juvederm fillers over the past year, my most recent being 4 month ago of 1ml. I am suffering with flu past few days and my lips have swelled up and feels like a hard lump on the left hand side. Is this anything to worry about or will it subside?
I had juverderm voluma one week ago today. I have felt dizzy and foggy ever since. I don't have any pain or swelling just an ache in the temples and cheeks of the injection area. I have spoken to my practitioner and she doesn't think it's related and is more likely some sort of virus. But I really think the jurvederm has made me feel this way. I'm panicking that this feeling is not going away, any advice would be very welcome. Many thanks
My family and I are recovering from a flu/stomach bug and I woke up today with pain and swelling in my cheeks, precisely where I had dermal fillers nearly 10 months ago. It looks as though Ive had my cheeks freshly done. No other symptoms other than tenderness and swelling.
I had juvederm filler in lip and cheek just over a week ago. The swelling subsided normally and everything appeared normal. I have flu symptoms and I'm sure I have caught something as I was exposed over the holidays to a couple people who were sick. Now for the last 20 hours my cheeks and lips have become swollen and are tender. Is this a normal response to contracting a cold or flu? Should I see a doctor immediately or should I wait until the flu subsides to see if the swelling also subsides?
i got 1 syringe of juvederm injected into my cheeks and lips 10 days ago. At day 3 i started feeling very fluish; muscle aches, headache, fatigue, nausea and painful inflamed nodes in the neck. Its now been 10 days and i still feel sick. Could i be reacting to the gram positive bacterial proteins from the bacteria used to produce juvederm? How long will this last? I have gotten juvederm about three years ago, could i have developed antibodies to it? Is this dangerous?
lip injection of juvederm performed by a PA that especializes in lips enhancement (this was done in a clean looking aesthetic place) but im concerned about the following morning I woke up with running nose, mucus on throat, fever and body ache. I went to my doctor and got antibiotics she said looks like upper respiratory infection. Now is it possible that I got this because juvederm or the injection used on a different patient first then me?? Also during procedure i felt very dizzy and nauseus.
