Dizziness and flu-like symptoms post Juvederm, should I be concerned?

Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid which is naturally occurring in our body.  Your symptoms are not related to your treatment.  See your family doctor for evaluation.

Thank you for your question. It doesn’t sound like your flu-like symptoms are related to getting JUVÉDERM®, especially since you don’t have swelling of the injection sites. The pain in your temples and cheeks may be related to headaches or muscle soreness from a virus. Visit your primary physician for an evaluation.

Since Juvederm is made from a naturally occurring substance in the body, I seriously doubt that it has anything to do with your flu like symptoms. My guess is that you got the flu and this is simply a case of bad timing. Make an appointment to see your regular doctor to be assessed. So sorry that you are feeling crummy.

appearance of the face. Flu-like symptoms are common in general and sometimes they occur around the same time as a cosmetic treatment, making one think it is secondary to the treatment. However, such side effects are unlikely related to the Voluma. Please consult with a doctor for specific

It is not likely that the Juvederm and your flu like symptoms are related in any way.  It is probably just a coincidence in timing.  I recommend following up with your primary care physician to treat your symptoms.
