It's been about 1.5 months since my Gynecomastia surgery. Only excision was performed. I don't have any before pics, but my nipples weren't inverted pre-surgery, they were just puffy. If I stretch my nipple then they pretrude. Will they eventually protrude naturally? Thank you all so much for your help. Your replies go such a long way!
I have had the my gyno surgery an year ago and now my right nipple has a deformity. The bottom aerola looks bit puffy (out from surface) and folded onto the top part. The top half of the aerola looks as if Its attached to the muscle beneath and I can feel a thread like lump right under the nipple when pinched and the nipple is also bit painful when touched. Further the aerola along with bit of its surrounding gets inverted when the hands are raised. Can this complexity be fixed and made normal?
Hi, I had puffy nipple surgery 3 months ago, just an incision around the areola and breast tissue removed (around half a chicken nugget) the surgeon said. One nipple looks slightly inverted and upon bending forward of flexing pectoral muscles both nipples sink, quite dramatically. I've read this could be scar tethering, or over resection, or both. Ive booked back in with the surgeon tomorrow to ask him but just wondered what other people thoght and what can be done. Thanks in advance
Hi Docs. I am 1 month 6 days post-op...had alot of gland and fat removed from chest area. Wore the compression vest for 4 weeks, and then my doctor told me I could take it off. He removed the sutures and did a check up. Before the op he told me he removes all the gland, so I already knew this :) My questions are: 1. will my nipples improve when the internal scar tissue subsides? 2. will my left nipple even out, as it looks like it has been halfed?
I received gynocemastia surgery about a year ago. I am getting a follow up surgery the end of this month. My one nipple has slightly grown tissue back and is decently noticeable that it's bigger than the other and that the gyno is back. My surgeon said he will remove the tissue and the gland but that I take the chance of having a caved in or inverted nipple. This is concerning me and I want to know how common this is. I would like this removed because it does bother me.
I think it is due to something called skin redundancy but I'm not sure. The nipple comes out when I pinch it, when I exercise, and when it's cold but always goes back in. Would suction methods for inverted nipples such as the nipplette help? Are there any surgical procedures that could fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am about 1 year post-op.
My gyno was mild just a hard puffy nipple on one side. after surgery the size looked better. 2 weeks later i found a stitch on the side of the nipple they forgot to take out. the nipple was still a bit puffy. i couldn't rip the stitch out but when i pulled on it a yellow orange color fluid poured out. A lot came rapidly dripping out of the small hole. And now the nipple has completely shrunk and is smaller then the normal one. its a bit inverted. It was too big now its too small. is this bad?
After having lipo done about a year ago, still not being happy I decided to get gynecomastia surgery. right after surgery, the right part of the chest started swelling, and I had to go back to surgery room. After one month doctor told me that I needed fat graft, explained to me that fat dies easily and I may need 2 or 3 sessions. One month after the first session he tells me now that I need scar revision, and told me that incision around the areola will have to be enlarged a bit. Thanks in adv
