Ive went to a couple consults. I know Im a candidate. My question is how many incisions are standard. Ive had two doctors say 3. One behind each ear and one under the chin. Then two others say one under the chin direct. Im not overweight and according to every surgeon Ive seen I have a small amount of fat but enough where lipo is an option as Im heavily opposed to Kybella. Whats the difference in 3 incision points to only one incision under the chin.
Hi! I would really like to avoid the small scar under the chin for chin lipo. I don't mind the two by the ears though. Is it possible to do a good job without using that center entry point?
Post op 15 months from facetite, chin lipo and platysmaplasty. Just started laser for scar improvement. Wondering if there is anything non surgically I can do to improve the area to the side of the incision that is puckered out. Also anything I can do to help with the vertical lines in the skin when stretching my neck out, Im mid 30s and I feel like that ages me. Edited to add before and after photos.
Is it ok or better to do a separate incision at bottom of neck, if you are having jawline n bottom of neck liposuctioned? Is ok or more difficult to lipo bottom of neck from jawline incision verses incision at bottom of neck?
Ive been wanting to get chin liposuction for awhile! I thought it would be one incision under the chin and go in through there but someone said that they can also go in from behind the ear under the jaw for better results and if its right for you. Is this safe? Is this a greater chance of hurting any nerves in your face? Or losing sensitivity?
To remove excess fat from someone chin they make three little incisions right below the both ears, and that is how they remove the fat from the persons neck? Let's say someone has very little fat, can the procedure take less than an hour to complete? After the procedure would there be any stitches that would be needed to stitch the areas where the incisions were made? After all this is done how long will the downtime be?
