4 years ago i had a breast lift and my breasts became pointy in a way i dont like. My dr recommended i get a fat transfer to improve the shape. While explaining the recovery, she said i will wear the same compression bra i wore after my breast lift surgery. I'm confused..won't doing that cause the fat to die?
For those patients that has most successful breast fat transfer, did they wear a soft bra post procedure or no bra? I was instructed to wear no bra until 4 weeks (which is two days away). Also, in terms of exercise I have been walking and doing yoga since 4 days post procedure, but was eager to start running again - though couldnt w/ no sports bra requirement. I gave in and wore one the past few days. Will this affect my fat taking hold? Am I safely absorbed by one month? Thanks!
I had a fat grafting procedure 2 days ago, hoping to improve the shape and softness of my breast (with implants). As I went to my check up, I was surprised that my doctor told me to start wearing underwire bras from this day and forward. He said this was to make the fat settle where we wanted it (top, not bottom), and to prevent more sagging. He put in 190cc fat on each, all on top and sides. I find his tip to be contradictory to what I read here. Should I listen to him or go without a bra?!
Hi, I had breast enlargement with fat transfer. I am 6 weeks post op. I feel good. I think I've been healing pretty well (when I read other ppl posts). I am excited getting some new bras, some nice push ups, etc. - to enjoy my new purchase. My dr says I shouldn't wear a tight bra yet. Why and when can I start wearing regular bras?? How harmful can it be?
I am considering fat transfer to breasts (lipo from arms, back bra roll and hips). I was not instructed to use Brava..does Brava make a difference? I have a bit of sagging not much, but I do have room in there for more fat. Please help me understand the benefits of Brava.
7 days after surgery, I rode a bike and went grocery shopping and carried two heavy bags (not for a long time, a few minutes). I didn't wear a bra at all, and while riding the bike (for 30 min) my breasts were shaking up and down a bit. I'm very afraid that it damaged my new fat cells :( In the evening, I noticed that my breasts hurt a bit more again. After this incident, I didn't move at all and rested. Do you think this one time incident will affect my results? (I have a bad concsience)
