What should I do or not do after breasts fat transfer to prevent fat from dying?

Just had breasts fat transfer. I heard that I shouldn't be wearing a wired bra, but besides, what's to do and not to do to ensure fat cells' survival? Can I sleep on my side?

Thank you for submitting your question!  In general, after fat grafting to breasts, you will want to avoid firm pressure to any areas of the breast so that there is no injury to any of the transferred fat cells.  This includes very tight and/or underwire bras and laying directly on your breasts when resting.  After a few weeks of recovery, you can resume wearing any bras that are comfortable.  You will need to follow your physician's protocol with regard to how long he/she wants you to wear a compression garment over your fat donor areas.   Appropriate surgeon technique during the procedure will give you the best results.   Thank you again for your inquiry.
