Answer: Postoperative protocol Dear Reliable221326, I understand your concern. It is best that you consult your plastic surgeon regarding post operative care and management (i.e including massage techniques and timing) specific to your case. Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery. Post operative care and management depends on the type of surgery performed and the technique used during surgery among other factors. It is best, however, that you follow your plastic surgeon's advice on post operative care management for a smooth and faster healing and recovery. Answer: Fat transfer The only practical reason to use compression is to reduce swelling. It is not know whether compression affects the take of the transferred fat, but I suspect it doesn’t make a difference

Answer: BREAST SHAPE! Hello dear. you can use bras with front closure and without underwires, with wide sleeves, it is important to use post-surgical bras to maintain the shape of the breasts. Answer: Post operative garments after a fat transfer There is no evidence that postoperative departments have any impact on surgical outcomes, including after both liposuction and fat transfer. Each provider will have their own guidelines based on their own belief and understanding. If something was clearly better than we would all be doing the same thing. A certain percentage of grafted fat will die in all cases and wearing garments isn’t going to change that. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
