It is absolutely possible to do both at the same time. Is it best to do them separately, absolutely. Both can be done during the same procedure, however you will need to be committed to diligent aftercare. You would need to have special pillows that you sit and lay on to maintain the buttocks as you will have to sleep on your back if you have the rhinoplasty revision. Here at Smith Plastic Surgery, we offer both buttocks implants and fat transfer to the buttocks. If you would like to be seen for consultation here at Smith Plastic Surgery Center, feel free to reach out to my office. 702-838-2455
Dear ashlytons,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hi, thanks for your question. Regularly, the answer is yes. It can be a good idea to have two procedures at the same time, to save recovery time, and money, because you pay only once for the hospital. Be sure to have two surgeons specializing in the procedures, and be sure to be a good candidate, by consulting a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area. Good luck!
Dear Ashly,I a word, yes it is possible. Whether it is advisable or not is a different story. Obviously the conflict is that you either have to lie on your just operated on nose, or your just operated on buttocks, neither of which is ideal. It takes a coordinated OR team and a very careful, experienced anesthesiologist, but I do it not infrequently in my AAAASF certified office OR. Good luck!
I’m sure it’s possible and I’m sure it’s been done but the two procedures are not complementary in regards to positioning during and after surgery.I suggest discussing this with your plastic surgeon if you have one if not I suggest you bring an app during consultations.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
