Is this necrosis or bruise? (Photo)

Question

This is one week after filler injection to the smile line. It appeared 12 hours after injection and no pain. It’s been the same size from the start.

This looks like bruising. Icing and arnica may give improvement. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase.

This is just a bruise. I see yellow as well which is a sign of healing. All the best, Dr. Thuy Doan

Based on the picture, that appears to be a bruise which may occur after filler injections. It is very uncommon to develop necrosis from dermal filler treatment.
