Is this necrosis or bruise? (Photo)

This is one week after filler injection to the smile line. It appeared 12 hours after injection and no pain. It’s been the same size from the start.

This appears to be bruising. Arnica, icing and cold compresses may help. I would wait a full 2 weeks before judging the results. If it is after the two week wait, you can have the filler reversed with hyaluronidase. I hope this helps!

If I have juvederm filler in my lips will being in the sun effect the healing process?

No, sun exposure won't negatively impact your results. It can take up to 2 weeks for final results. I do recommend using full-spectrum sun protection. Hope this helps.

Dear cruzz,I would advise you strongly to avoid using an expired syringe for your treatment. In fact, I would go further to say you need to find a new injector if he/she is suggesting using an expired syringe. You may have a reaction or unwanted complication if you use the expired syringe. Make...

Thank you for your question. Two mls in one appointment is a lot of filler in the lip. I suggest one at a time spaced at least 4 weeks apart.  Best of luck to you!

There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1-2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 mins a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have...
