I'm planning a nose job. How soon should I book a consultation?

It would be wise to seek a consultation now to consider your surgery.There are many things you will need to consider and you need to find a surgeon that you are comfortable with and then it needs to fit in with both of your schedules.Making an appointment now doesn't mean the surgery is imminent.  Many rhinoplasty patients end up having more than one consultation. Often with the same surgeon but sometimes not.The worst thing to do would be to leave this to the last minute.  It probably best to give yourself plenty of time to do your homework on the rhinoplasty procedure, and a rhinoplasty surgeon, make 3 consultations and then undergo the surgery and recovery. This process can take 6 months. Full healing after the nose job takes one year.  Choose your surgeon based on experience, since rhinoplasty as one of the hardest operations to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery

Thank you for your question. First of all, you want to do your research and a find a good plastic surgeon (board certified plastic surgeon in the U.S.). You want to look at before and after photos, read reviews, read about the recovery time, etc. It is helpful to have someone help you out during recovery.
