A mole will not affect your CoolSculpting® results, and shouldn't interfere with any fat reduction treatment in the area, as CoolSculpting® only targets fat cells. The only time I would recommend caution is if you feel your mole poses any cause for concern that could require dermatological treatment. In that case, I'd suggest following up with your dermatologist prior to proceeding with CoolSculpting®.
Having a Coolsculpting treatment over a mole should not cause any problems because the Cryolipolysysis technology does not affect the skin in the treatment area. I hope that helps
hiThere won't be any problem with this. Cryolipolysysis does not affect the skin, including moles in the area. Regards, Dr Steve Merten, Sydney
There should be no problem getting a Coolsculpting treatment over a mole. Most patients have moles on a variety of areas of their body. Coolsculpting is routinely performed right over them without any issues.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Quintessa Aesthetic Centers
There should be no contraindication to have coolsculpting over an area of skin that has moles, however if you have not had a full skin exam for a skin cancer screening I would see a dermatologist before having any treatments if you have a skin growth that you are concerned about. Best, Dr P.
Hello and Thank-you for your question. The presence of a mole should not affect your results with Cooolsculpting. Moles are frequently present in Coolsculpting sites and are not affected by the treatment. I would recommend a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon well versed in Coolsculpting.Best regards, Andrew Lyos MD, FACS
The presence of a mole on one of your thighs should not affect the ability to perform CoolSculpting on your thighs. The mole should also not affect the results that you could achieve with the procedure. Additionally, the CoolSculpting should not affect your mole.
This shouldn't effect your results with Coolsculpting. However, I do recommend having your mole checked by a cosmetic dermatologist. With Coolsculpting, I recommend adding a combination of radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing in order to get the best results. However, for the best results with contouring and fat removal, I recommend VASER HI DEF, with ThermiRF and ultrasound. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer
The mole should not be a problem for CoolSculpting if it is benign. Your provider should check your mole before proceeding with CoolSculpting. Good luck!
I would advise you to go to a board-certified dermatologist for your CoolSculpting session. He or she can evaluate your mole during a consultation. If the mole is benign, you'll be able to proceed with CoolSculpting your thighs.
Coolsculpting results are sometimes noticeable within the few days while other times it may take up to 12 weeks. With people who had last fat in their targeted area, it is hardly visible by looking at it, but before and after pictures show the change, as well as the inches lost. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. There has been cases of dark spots remaining after Coolsculpting treatment. This is not permanent and will resolve. It can take several month to resolve, so be patient. I recommend contacting your treating physician if you still have concerns.
It is hard to give you any advise without pictures. It takes around 3 months to see end results from Coolsculpting so you should already expect to see end results. I would suggest you to have a follow-up appointment with your provider to discuss your results and desired outcome. Best of luck!
