Minimum ml that can be found in juvederm syringe?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Allergan, the company that produces Juvederm, does sell Ultra and Ultra Plus syringes that are only 0.4cc in size.  Their most recent filler release, Volbella, is also sold in 0.55cc syringes.   Hope this helps.

Yes, Juvederm does sell 0.4 mL syringes. If you're concerned, I recommend following up with your Dr. Keep in mind, you will have swelling 1-2 weeks after your injections, so it is too soon for your final results. Best, Dr. Emer

Juvederm comes in a prepackaged 1.0 ml syringe, but there are doctors who take that same syringe and repackage and even dilute it to be less or more.  That becomes a problem as you may be paying for more than you actually receive. 

We don't do this as it makes less sense and often leads to sterility issues.  Restylane, by the way, comes as 1.15 ml per syringe.  There are new syringes of a product called Volbella (juvederm family for the lips) that are 0.55 ml.

Thank you for your question. The smallest syringe of Juvederm is Ultra and Ultra Plus, it comes in a 0.4cc size syringe. The newest filler Volbella is sold in 0.55cc syringe. Juvederm is made by the company Allergan. Hope this information helps. 

Juvederm does make half size syringes of 0.4 cc.  Volbella is package as 0.55 cc. Hope that helps make things more clear.

The product does come in 0.4ml syringes, as well as other syringe volumes.  Physicians may not carry all available sizes.  Check with your injector to know what volumes they have available.

Allergan does sell this item in a .4ml syringe. If you are concerned with the dose that was used on you please make sure to discuss this with your provider. Also keep in mind that swelling is very normal in the lips and it can take some time for this  to decrease.

Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvederm, sell Juvederm Ultra/UltraPlus in 1 mL  and 0.4 mL syringes. Most providers only offer the 1 mL syringes because the 0.4 mL syringes are being phased out and cost more to purchase. No 0.8 mL Juvederm syringe is available for purchase through Allergan. Make sure you are seeing a reputable injector using authentic Allergan products. Here is in Miami, there is unfortunately a market for counterfeit products.
