Seems like my breasts have looked like this since I started my periods at age 13. I was diagnosed with an interactive thyroid at 17, nothing has changed breast wise since I started my medication. The right breast has always been bigger. I'm not bothered about the size really, but I hate the shape, don't seem to fill bras. When my nipples are effect the shape of the breast changes, a lot founder and nicer. I'd like them to stay like that, but only seems to last a matter of minutes

Answer: Tuberous breasts with asymmetry Based on your photos, you do appear to have both tuberous breasts and obvious asymmetry. If the look bothers you then schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss treatment options. These would probably include a breast lift with an implant. Best of luck.

Answer: Technically, yes Thank you for your question to a common presentation for plastic surgeons. Tuberous breasts have a wide spectrum of presentations and the elements which are typically associated vary in their severity as well. In your case, it appears that you have a mild constriction of the lower poles of both breasts. Another element of the tuberous breast is "herniation" of the breast tissue into the areola. Although you present with a mild herniation, the erection or flattening of the areola accounts for a more pleasing appearance as the breast tissue is "pushed" back into the breast. And lastly, it is not uncommon for significant asymmetry which you have. As part of the procedure to address various elements of the tuberous breast you have presented here, correction of the herniation can be performed. In addition, improving the lower pole constriction and volume asymmetry would be performed as well. Good luck.
