So I am scheduled for my BA this june 8 and im really excited about it. I Had my pre op physical exam and lab work done last may 25 however the clinic contacted me yesterday because my ptt test came out a little high, they asked me to re do my PTT test and I did it. Will surgeons cancel he surgery if my ptt test will come out a little high again?

Answer: PTT Thank you for your question. My strong advice is to follow the instructions given by your plastic surgeon regarding your surgery and elevated PTT. He/she will determine if your level is acceptable to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: PTT high Your surgeon will need to review the results and find out if it's meaningful or not. If so, sometimes, it's worth repeating, since sometimes tests have errors themselves.

Answer: High PTT Hello, thanks for your question. Your surgeon will need to review the test and determine if it's just outside of the normal range, or obviously abnormal. They will be able to discuss the potential bleeding risk (if any) and whether your surgery should be delayed.
