Im suppose to getting a bbl in March they had recommended I get a extended tummy tuck and lipo , I was thinking what if I get lipo 360 will my belly be flat? My stomach really isn’t big. I just have extra skin from having kids. Need help for decided what surgery to get!
Answer: Just liposuction I would recommend just a 360. It has to be done right, will removal of all fat. That way the skin will tighten up. Can add a little tightening like J plasma. I would do that first, then tummy tuck only later if you feel like there is extra skin. You just have to know you will not be all the way flat after liposuction, because the muscles are stretched out some from pregnancy.

Answer: Do I need lipo 360 or extended tummy tuck? (Photo) Hello! Lipo 360 is a great option for you! As for a tummy tuck, what you can experience with Lipo 360 is excess skin. Lipo is removing fat inside, so you can experience excess skin after the fat is removed. Some patients will receive Lipo 360 and then follow up with tummy tuck if needed. It is most definitely how you feel and what your end result is and what your expectations are! Best of Luck!Dr. Julia Spears MD

Answer: Liposuction I would start with liposuction to remove the excess fat. Once healed, then you can see if you might need a mini tuck if you have residual lower skin.

Answer: Lipo addresses fat, but not necessarily skin excess Hi 2trilll4u, This is a common question…will liposuction alone address my concerns? Liposuction as a way to remove excess fat, from the areas in which it is not wanted. Consideration of the overlying skin is important in any liposuction procedure. In women with poor quality or stretched out skin, liposuction can create an appearance of skin excess, as the previously stretched out skin does not have the elastic capacity to recoil when the fat is removed. While it is challenging to say from your photos, the lateral photo suggest that you have stretch marks below the bellybutton. Stretch marks skin often has poor elasticity, and would not be expected to tighten well after liposuction. Stated differently, your surgeon is probably suggesting an extended abdominoplasty because the optimal treatment for the stretched out skin is removal, as opposed to expecting it to recoil after liposuction alone. I would definitely suggest rediscussion with your surgeon prior to surgery. Hope this helps. Hope this helps.
