8 weeks post op Upper eyelid blepharoplasty, I still have tired eyes. Any suggestions?

It is impossible to give accurate answer without photos but it is possible that you had underlying eyelid ptosis (droopy upper eyelid) that is now more obvious after upper blepharoplasty.  Upper blepharoplasty only removes skin (and fat) from the upper eyelid without actually lifting the eyelid. Eyelid ptosis is when the actual eyelid is droopy due to weak or loosened levator muscle responsible for lifting the eyelid. The treatment for that is ptosis surgery by tightening the muscle. The two eyes can also be asymmetric with one eyelid droopier than the other. See an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation.

Yes eyelids do take more that 2 weeks to heal.  Without posting photographs it is really impossible to understand the basis for your concerns.  I recommend that if you want more meaningful feed back that you post the highest quality images you can.  If you are concerned with being recognized, make what is called an eye strip that included the eyebrows and the top of the cheek.

Without a picture this is an almost impossible question to answer.  I agree with Dr. Park that one eyelid may have developed ptosis (a drooping of the actual eyelid margin).  Thankfully, this is a correctable problem that can usually be done under local or mild sedation.  Consult your plastic surgeon, and voice your concerns.  At 8 weeks, this is not likely to resolve without surgery.  Best wishes and take care.

as my colleague Dr Park has said, without photos it is impossible to comment. You do need to be seen in person by your surgeon to ensure their is nothing treatable causing your asymmetry - ptosis, levator dysfunction, infection, oedema etc.
