I have a white shaped large bump by my nipple incision: is this normal? (photo)

I agree looks like a stitch abscess, hopefully its just a single stitch and a simple removal will be all that is needed

The bump apoears to be from a deep suture that is working it's way to the surface. You should see a plastic surgeon to have it addressed.  It apoears you had a donut type lift and a deep purse string type stitch.  Unfortunately if that is the knot fron the stitch, removing it may result in your areole stretching out.  However, you may have no choice but to remove it before it becomes infected.

Dissolvable sutures require an inflammatory response by the body for their planned deterioration. Sometimes this can result in a collection of fluid around the dissolving suture referred to as a sterile stitch abscess. Your surgeon will drain this and it should heal quickly.

Thank you for your photo. It looks like a superficial suture abcess which can occur in some instances. Due to the size and history of recent implant placement, I reccomend you contacting your plastic surgeon as soon as possible.

Hi and thank you for your question. from your photograph the lump would be consistent with a suture reaction often called a suture abscess which could require a course of antibiotics if the area becomes painful, hot, swollen and red, as well as local anaesthetic aspiration or drainage. See your PS

This is an epithelial inclusion cyst from the suture. Only opening or excision will correct this issue... 

Thank you for the pictures.This is most likely to be a stitch thread trying to break form the skin. Sometimes this can happen even if the stitches are supposed to be absorbed by your body. Your PS should removed this, it's very easy and painless.Dr.Campos

The problem you are experiencing is likely related to an underlying suture ( “stitch abscess”). Do not be surprised, if the “bump” drains.  Once it does, you may notice a residual “hole”. Usually these issues are self-limited and do not lead to long-term sequelae. Your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource. Best wishes. 

Thank you for your question.  The white lump that you show in your photograph can be a suture abscess or a small cyst.  In either case it needs to be opened and possibly removed.  You should see you nude plastic surgeon soon and not wait.
