Will a lip augmentation balance out my nose? (Photo)

Question

I plan on getting a rhinoplasty later on in the year as well but was just wondering if fuller lips would balance out my nose and help harmonize my features.

Lip augmentation and rhinoplasty are often performed in conjunction with one another because there are efficiencies with having one recovery, one surgical payment and, of course, the ability to create a more natural looking result. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about the interplay among your features.

This will depend on the final results you want. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. mz96.  I would go ahead with the rhinoplasty first and then evaluate your lips with regard to your nose.  I appears to me that you have reasonably full lips, and probably wont need lip augmentation after your rhinoplasty. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  Though offering a limited view of your full face, a lip augmentation can improve the size and symmetry of your lips to leave you with a natural, but noticeable, improvement.  Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation, they can offer you the best advice based on your desired goal appearance.

While Vollure, Volbella and Juvéderm in the lips will make your lips look fuller, they won't change your nose. My advice would be to have the rhinoplasty and then assess the lips. Since the nose sits in the middle of your face, changing it will change your entire facial proportion.

Lip filler treatment will add volume to your lips and improve the symmetry of the lips. However, you will still need the rhinoplasty to address your nose. I would consider proceeding with the rhinoplasty and then considering lip filler as needed. Good luck!
