I had this struggle for a long time. The left side of my upper lip lack so much volume. I have noticed that my jaw is a little asymetrical and that could be the reason for the asymetry in upper lip. I dont like being with friends and im so nervous when talking to girls beacuse I feel so insecure about it. Is there something that can be done? Not fillers.

Thank you for your question. Fillers are great options for increasing volume and symmetry in your lips. Fat injections are incredibly popular because of their speedy recovery time and quick results. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.

secretactor.    By far, your best option is filler of some sort to correct your lip asymmetry and plump up upper lip as well.  Fat transfer lasts much longer and is an excellent option for you. There is nothing else I can offer. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Thank you for your question. A good option to correct your lip asymmetry is with hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane. Fillers are a great way to help improve volume and symmetry of the lips and typically results last between 6-9 months. As hyaluronic acid fillers are not permanent you can have them dissolved with hyaluronidase if you are unhappy with the results. Filler is really your best option for fixing your lip asymmetry. The good news is that there are lots of new fillers on the market such as Vollure and Volbella which deliver very natural looking results. Gone are the days of the "fish lips". Well, everyone has asymmetry and this can include both soft tissue and underlying bony architecture. I know you wrote no fillers, but that is the easiest way to a achieve closer symmetry.
