Lip Fillers while on Accutane?

Hello, I recently started on Accutane and am taking 40 mg. I'm really interested in getting lip fillers sometime next month. Is it safe to get lip injection while on Accutane? Thank you

Yes, you can have lip fillers while on Accutane. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and also provide lift. Fat or implants are a permanent alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Although there are no absolute contraindications, the use of injections that are purely cosmetic should be postponed until several weeks after stopping Accutane. Accutane interferes with skin healing and can lead to severe complications. It is not worth the risk to perform a purely cosmetic procedure that breaks the skin on a patient on Accutane.
