I had my lips done for the first time a year and a half ago, they had minimal swelling. I have just got them done for the second time and they are HUGE (which I assume is the swelling). It's 3 days later and the swelling hasn't gone down at all. I've only had 1ml put in but they don't look right.

Answer: Swelling after injections Thank you for your question. It does appear you have quite a bit of swelling at this time. Did they use the same product you had before or was it is a new product? I would contact your injector and have them evaluate you in person to make sure nothing is concerning. It may just be swelling, but there is no way to know without seeing you in person.

Answer: Lip Injection You may still be swollen. Although for some patients the swelling goes away within 24 to 48 hours, others have swelling that takes a bit longer to subside. If you are concerned, I would call the doctor who injected you to have them document your healing, and to see if they have any suggestions.Be sure you are being injected by a board certified plastic surgeon.
