Is there anything I can do to help fade botox faster? (Photo)

This will wear off.  Please be patient.  It feels far worse than it appears.  Don't get botox around the mouth again.  It is just never a good idea.

The effect of the Botox is predictable and typically last 3 to 4 months. However, your dose is so small, it may not last nearly as long. Using your muscles as much as possible might help them to bounce back sooner. Otherwise, you just have to wait it out. Be sure to follow up with your injector and express your concerns.

Botox lasts around 4 months so this will go away soon enough. Sometimes fillers highlight our asymmetries if not injected by experienced provider. This can be fixed with other fillers but I would suggest you to wait for it to go away and then change your provider. Good luck!

Unfortunately, nothing much can be done to make the Botox wear off faster. I warn patients about injecting Botox around the mouth, as it can create very undesirable results. Fortunately, Botox around the mouth tends to wear off fairly quickly, especially considering the low number of units used in this area. 

Thanks for your question and the photo and sorry that you are having the concerns that you are having.  We always recommend that you have a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon and if there are concerns, that you can go back to your injector to ask questions and see if there is anything that can be done.  You have a beautiful smile and we need to remember that we are all a little asymmetric to begin with – so with Botox, if not done right, can cause you to be more asymmetric.  The effects will not last long – 3-4 months at most.  There are “fixes” out there in the most experienced injectors hands – but you might want to wait at this point – find another injector – and get what needs to be corrected done by someone extremely skilled.  Best of luck.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do to make it disappear faster. However, you could go back to your provider and consider injection a **SMALL** volume of filler just to reduce the effect. It really needs to be reviewed in person with the movements when you are smiling. On a positive note, Botox in the upper lips does not last 3-4 months. It usually lasts less than 8 weeks. 

This injection isn't always a great result and patients need to be warned. It leads to a change in the smile which people don't always like. It will last about 6-8 weeks, shorter than usual treatments because the dose is quit low. There is nothing that can be done to expedite the recovery.

Botox is a treatment that temporarily relaxes muscles.  It lasts on average about 3-4 months.  Depending on the dose and your bodies natural tendencies it may last more of less time. Unfortunately there is no way to hasten this process. You have two options.  One is to wait things out.....you will return to normal when the Botox wears off.  The second is to consider a bit more Botox on the higher side.  This is a complicated decision that you need to make with your doctor.  The advantage would be that your lips would be more symmetric, which tends to look better.  The disadvantage would be that the other side of your lip would lower as well.
