This is an excellent question. Even without pre-existing wrinkles, Botox is a great preventive measure to keep your skin wrinkle-free. For my patients, I usually recommend small aliquots of Botox to each area, called the micro-droplet technique. This prevents any one area from looking “frozen” and still allows natural movement. In addition to treating your glabella and crow’s feet, I also recommend adding a small amount to the forehead. When areas are left untreated, it can look unnatural and be a giveaway that you have had something done. I strongly recommend consulting with an experienced injector for more information about Botox injections. Enjoy your Botox!
The glabellar, forehead and crow's feet are separate treatment areas and can be treated individually based on the person's desired results. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
It is hard to give you precise answer since you did not provide any pictures. I would advise you to make an appointment with an expert who will examine your case and advise you where to get Botox injections for best results. Botox can be injected in crows feet and glabellar wrinkles without being injected in the forehead. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Botox works quite well for crows feet and glabellar wrinkles. Those area can be treated individually or all at once. I recommend consulting with an experienced injector. Good luck,
Thanks for your question – and remember we always recommend that you have a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon – we are the most knowledgeable in the use and injections of Botox – and are best to give one advice on where and what to inject. Each area you are talking about is a separate anatomic area as far as the use of Botox is concerned. Having Botox in the glabella and in the crow’s feet is fine – and won’t affect most any line in the forehead – and if there are no lines, that’s okay too. Your provider should be able to help you here and advise you on how best to have these injections done.
Thank you for your question. Botox tends to work quite well in the glabella and crow's feet. The result will be the same regardless of whether or not you treat the forehead. An in-person consultation can provide further information.
Hello DIMITRAGLA,Thank you for sharing your question. Botox will work quite nicely to smooth out wrinkles in the desired areas of treatment which will vary from person to person. Understand that the Glabella, Crows feet and forehead are all different areas of treatment that can be treated individually or all at the same time. Treatment of one area has not direct effect on the others. However you may notice more wrinkles in the forehead as the glabellar area is much smoother and remains that way with ongoing Botox treatments. Another phenomenon that can occur when only one area such as the glabella is only treated is that the non-treated muscles (forehead) can overcompensate and work harder thus leading to wrinkles in that area which is a simple fix by adding a few additional units to this area. No need to change your plan of attack at this point, you have lots of options moving forward. Be well.
The glabella is the most common area treated with Botox and can be treated without treating anywhere else and the results are excellent
Thank you foryour question DIMITRGLA. Botox is apurified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression such as the horizontal lines seen on the forehead when one raises the brows, the vertical lines between the brows seen when one frowns, and the crow's feet seen around the eyes when one smiles. Each of these areas is separate and can be treated individually based on the patient's desires. Pleaseconsult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
Thank you for your inquiry. Botox is actually a great treatment to prevent glabella lines from forming. Be sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon for best results !
Hello, thank you for your questions and pictures. This is not angioedema. You had too much botox and some of the injections were done at the wrong place. It will get better within 6-8 weeks. I recommend seeing an experienced injector next time. Best of luck,
Thank you for your question! I advise my patients not to exercise, bend down or lay down for at least 8 hours after injection. It may lead to migration of Botox. I would suggest you to have follow up appointment after one to two weeks, to make sure that everything is ok. Good luck!
I like Masseter injections in some people, it can help decrease bulky masseter muscles or create balance when there is asymmetry. However, I do think that in some cases using filler to widen the cheek bones can change the proportions to make the lower face look slimmer(relatively speaking) by...
