Daily progression: M: face felt tight; T: cheeks full, face feels sunburned; W: cheeks more full & tingly with pink apples; TH: sides of face tingle and feel full especially when smiling F: friends say my pink cheeks look filled with tire repair; SA: muscles tremble when I half smile, sides of mouth bulge, I called doctor, sent him photos & video of trembling smile & swollen cheeks. His response = my cheeks looked like Angiodema; it would dissipate and I should go see my GP about shaky smile.

Thanks for your question. I think you need to go elsewhere and find a certified injector next time. The effects will go away in 6 to 8 weeks most likely in the cheeks, but you should probably have less units expertly injected next time.Warmest regards, Dr. ALDO

This is too much Botox in the wrong places so now you have upper eyelid ptosis and s compensatory brow lift.  The muscle that makes smile lines should not ce overly weakened and it is.  Did you also get fillers with your Botox treatment?  It looks like that.  The good news is this horrible service will wear off in a few months.  You picked a bad injector.  It happens.  Do not go back there.

Hello, thank you for your questions and pictures. This is not angioedema. You had too much botox and some of the injections were done at the wrong place. It will get better within 6-8 weeks. I recommend seeing an experienced injector next time. Best of luck,

No you do not have angioedema. Most likely the Botox was placed too low under the eyes and this will go away in about 6 weeks. Be sure you are seeing a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon

First off, this is nowhere close to angioedema. If it were, it needs treatment immediately. This problem is most likely related to poorly placed Botox around the eyes. If it goes to low, the zygomaticus muscle is affected. It will gradually get better in 6-8 weeks most likely. I would probably see a different provider in the future.
