I had hair transplant 22 days ago. What shampoo should I use after surgery. Also should I use Rogaine or not?

Thank you for posting this question. It is unfortunate that you are driven to an open forum for basic post-operative questions about your surgery, and that your surgeon is ignoring your emails. I would like to say I am surprised by that, but particularly in the areas of the world where steep discounts are offered on this procedure, I am not surprised at all. To directly answer your question, you can use any shampoo you want after 22 days. The wounds are healed at this time, and your choice of shampoo will not affect the outcome of the surgery. Also, you can use rogaine if you choose to at this time. I hope this information is helpful to you.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.   In general you can use any shampoo you wish.

I think you can use Revivogen sampuan  after , I do not recommend to use rogaine after surgery

At 22 days you should be safe to use whatever shampoo you like, no risk of damaging the grafts. That being said any baby shampoo is gentle enough that it should be fine for using on your new hair,  even well before 22 days. Nothing wrong with using Rogaine either, just try to get your doctor's approval first. Many people start using it 2-3 days after their surgery.

We recommend a simple Head and Shoulders or other anti-dandruff shampoo with zinc to keep your scalp healthy, clean and decrease itching post transplant. This is also good for maintenance washing. Another ingredient is ketoconazole that is found in anti-dandruff shampoos and those for hair thinning because it is considered a mild DHT blocker. Even if you don't have dandruff, these ingredients can minimize the low level of inflammation that may be present in the scalp in male pattern baldness. Rogaine/minoxidil can safely be resumed after transplant within about 10 days. If you are interested in helping your native hair, it is important to maintain your medical regimen for hair loss with that that and/or finasteride even after you have a transplant.

Each Dr. may have their own routine for post op care . In my practice I advise  my patients  to use Sebamed shampoo for two weeks and I tell them that they can continue using their own shampoos after  two weeks washing process . To slow down the hair loss of the  native hairs I recommend my patients to use FDA approved products such as Minoxidil and Finasteride .

For a shampoo I generally recommend baby shampoo or any high quality shampoo. No special shampoos are required. Rogaine adds no value.
