If you have throbbing on your transplanted area, it is not normal. You should contact your doctor for a follow up.
Throbbing is generally not a common symptom to have, especially if it develops later on and not immediately after the surgery. Having it in a specific area is also a cause for concern as opposed to simply feeling it over the entire scalp. Regardless, contact your doctor about it, since its possible it's nothing but also possible there is some complication.
You should return to see your doctor of there is throbbing in one particular place. If it is general scalp throbbing, I would not worry about it.

In general you should follow your doctor's diagnosis if you trust them. Procapil isn't proven to aid hair like Minoxidil is, but it certainly won't hurt and there shouldn't be any problems with it, especially if Minoxidil is giving you problems.
With this degree of hair loss, it's unlikely minoxidil or finasteride will have much effect. Hair loss in men is driven by genetics. A hair transplant might provide some density in the very front depending on the donor area. A multivitamin will not provide much benefit for your hair - if any at all.
Wait the full year and then return to the surgeon to re-evaluate your results. In the mean time, I hope you are using finasteride or minoxidil to help keep what you have.
