Which procedure is best for me to correct a widow's peak and uneven hairline? (photos)

It is best to consult with a doctor in person if you are considering a cosmetic surgery.  If you want t a pointy widow's peak a hair transplant surgery may be a better option.

The hairline can be lowered his hair transplants. However a better choice in my opinion for most women is a hairline advancement using the Irregular Trichophytic Incision  with possible brow lift if needed. With this procedure you can be totally finished and back in social settings in one week and do not have to wait for several hair transplant procedures or the hair to grow. There is no texture change as occurs with transplants.  See a surgeon who is very familiar with this technique and look at his results. You should not see a visible scar. 

I advice you have a 1800-2000 grafts FUE; you would get the desired hairline in just one sesssion of dense packing hair transplant. Hair grafting/ transplant can be an option or forehead reduction and correcting  asymmetry on your frontal hair line/forelock.after 2 weeks you may use scarf , any kind of hat  etc..

You can consider both options of a forehead reduction/hairline advancement and a hair transplant to create a rounder feminine hairline.The advantage of a surgical forehead reduction/hairline advancement is that you will get an immediate result but the scar can be unpredictable and the hairline can be harsh and unless done expertly, the hair growth direction can be unnatural.Hair transplantation will give a natural appearance but might need to be repeated to build up density and takes over a year to mature.  FUE would require you to shave a donor area which most women would rather not do so a Strip FUT method of harvesting hair is probably better for you.

Both are excellent options for lowering your hairline. Traditionally, the high hairline has been addressed by hair transplantation. Hair grafts can look very natural here but may require a number of procedures, depending on the density and the amount of lowering required. Hairline lowering or advancement (also known as forehead reduction) is a great method of reducing the forehead with immediately noticeable results. The ideal patient for the hairline advancement procedure is typically female who is born with a high hairline and no personal or familial history of progressive hair loss.

To select appropriate candidates for this procedure, a thorough examination of the scalp must be performed with a focus on scalp laxity, direction of hair exit, and frontotemporal points and recessions. These key elements are important for selecting appropriate candidates for hairline lowering surgery. Forward-growing hairs at the hairline allow for hair growth through the scar and the highest probability of scar camouflage. Patients with backwards exiting hairs at any point along the hairline (as seen in those with cowlicks) should understand that they might require future hair transplantation to disguise the scar and achieve optimal results. Hair grafting can be performed for individuals who desire coverage of deep temporal recessions or advancement of the downward-facing temple hairs. 

Adequate scalp laxity can be determined by the relative ease of moving the hair-bearing scalp forward and backward and the pinching of forehead skin. For patients with relatively tight scalps, massaging the scalp in a backward-forward movement for a month before the surgery can improve the forward advancement achieved.



In order to determine which procedure is ideal for you, a proper examination by a hair expert is necessary.

After viewing your pictures and without the opportunity to discuss your alternatives I would suggest a hair line lowering procedure which will give you immediate results with normal density. Sometimes hair transplants re an option to achieve a soft thin rounding at the edges of the hairline.

The most efficient way to get the hairline you want is with the hairline lowering operation. However, for it to work you have to have the right amount of scalp and forehead laxity and appropriate hair growth direction.
