Weak jawline and chin (maybe lips). Options to get a strong jawline/chin? (photos)

Question

How can my lower face look like the girl with the sharp jawline. I understand it’s an uncommon question for females but I always desired a strong sleek jaw. There’s so many procedures that don’t exactly fit what I want to achieve this dream look of mine. Can anyone help me how to get a strong jawline/chin? Thank you so much :)

Hello and thank-you for your question and photos.You may consider a chin augmentation to improve your jawline combined with liposuction of the sub mental chin and neck. Liposuction of the chin area alone could give improvement as well. Liposuction can be combined with J-Plasma (Renuvion) Cool Helium Plasma for skin tightening of the chin and neck produces consistently good results for appropriate candidates. Neck liposuction is a great option for patients with good skin elasticity and excess fat in the neck and around the jawline. The photograph  of the side profile reveals a weak  and recessive chin profile along with fatty deposits in the neck. To obtain a very sharp and angulated jawline will require a necklift procedure which involves removal of fat above and below the platysma muscle along with a platysma plasty procedure. No skin removal is required if your  are  under 50 years of age. Placement of a chin implant will augment the chin forward which will help  with facial balance and proportions. There are many reasons for some people to have more defined jaw than others. The bone structure, the thickness of skin and and fat deposits. Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures, including Chin Augmentation with dermal fillers or silastic chin implants, for over 30 years.  From the photos, your chin is very weak as are the back portions of the jaw line.  When the chin is weak, this creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy, the lower face looks short, de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a "double chin".  
 Proper placement of a silastic chin implant adds forward projection to the chin thereby creating harmony and balance to the lower face.  Using the same incision, liposuction can be performed to reduce the fat and further shape the neck.  Excess skin, from below the chin, can also be removed through the same incision.  
 I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick, highly effective and far less invasive than a sliding genioplasty (requires extensive tissue dissection, bone cuts and placement of metal screws and plates to secure the cut segments of bone).  I perform chin implant surgery in 30 minutes or less, often using a local anesthetic alone.  In my opinion, you are a good candidate for chin implant surgery.  The jaw line can be augmented, with precise placement of a dermal filler, without masculinizing the jaw line.Hope this helps.

The 'slope' of the jawline is important in your goal. The 'angle'/ramus' of the jaw is important to the width and height of the area and provides the critical definition. The density of the overlying soft tissue is a factor as well, but underlying bone structure is the first step to enhance.
