Can Galaflex move inside the breast?

I've heard people say Galiflex moved or bunched up inside their breast causing a dent and allowing them to feel the material. What are the chances of this material bunching up or moving inside the breast, and could that lead to deformed tissue developing?

Thanks for submitting your questions!  When Galaflex is used, it is usually sutures in place to prevent the product from moving within the breast pocket.  After some time, your own tissue grows into the product, which also prevents it from moving.  It IS possible for the material to bunch or move, which can then be palpable or create scar tissue, but this is a rare occurrence.  Your plastic surgeon should be able to go over the benefits and risks of using this product in further detail.  Thanks for reaching out!
