34M 5'9 165 lb. Would chin lipo help "snatch" my jaw, or is my hyoid bone too low? I have sleep apnea so clearly there's some structural issues going on- not sure if my jaw sag is related to my apnea though. I was wondering if chin lipo would fix my aesthetic issue? I know that in theory MMA surgery would fix both apnea and my jaw looks, but that surgery is super invasive. Thank you

Neck liposuction can only accomplish removal of the fat deposits above your platysma muscle. Based on your photographs, most of your fat deposits are located below the platysma muscle which is going to require a neck lift procedure to remove that compartment of fat surgically, and liposuction to remove the fat deposits above the muscle. After the fat has been removed,A platysma plasty also gives significant improvement to your jawline. Choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results

Facial aesthetics, especially in young people is primarily determined by bone structure.
Issues related to the lower 1/3 of the face and neck are generally determined by the shape and size of the mandible as it relates to the maxilla.
You don’t seem to have a substantial thickness of subcutaneous fat, so I don’t think Liposuction is going to make a significant impact.
That is also not the primary issue.
Procedures that don’t address the primary problem are going to give partial results at best.
 Improvements with Liposuction tends to work well on individuals who have substantial amounts of fat to remove.
Since bone structure is the primary problem the best solutions are going to address that.
I agree with you that cranial facial surgery is a bit too much for many people.
It is, however important to recognize That soft tissue solutions to facial, skeletal problems have inherent limitations.
A neck lift will treat skin, fat, plum muscle, and has a far better potential of getting you a better defined jawline, loss of double chin, etc.
I suggest consulting with both oral surgeons and plastic surgeons in your community.
Oral surgeons tend to see things more from a skeletal perspective and I think in many ways they have an upper edge in understanding primary ideologies.
Plastic surgeons tend to be more soft tissue oriented And often offer solutions that seem more appealing to patients.
Getting the insight from both specialties is probably ideal before jumping to conclusions about having permanent irreversible surgical procedures.
