Currently I have 300 cc under the muscle, I want to replace them with 200 cc and a get a lifting. I'm petite 4,11-115 pounds. Do you think 200 would be a good size or should I go lower than 200? I wanna look small and be able to do sports as I used to do before getting my implants
Answer: Smaller breast implants This is a great question to go over with your plastic surgeon. Implants do not come much smaller than 200 mL. Take a look at a 150 mL implant. It is not much. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Downsizing breast implants Without a photograph, it is impossible to tell you more about your situation. Downsizing your breast implants 100 mL is often equivalent to 1 cup size. However keep in mind that if you do make the implants too small this can impact negatively the cleavage sound as well as the breast balance and shape. Make sure to have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to better understand your options. Vincent Marin, MDSan Diego Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Choosing the right implant Choosing the right implant for you to downsize into is difficult at best in person, and without seeing you it would be almost impossible to say.

Answer: Implant sizing from 300 to 200cc Dear lorena73,It is difficult to evaluate without photographs. In general, you are petite based upon your height/weight, and a 100cc difference in implant size is substantial at the sizes we're discussing. Please also consider that in performing a lift concurrently, the breast size may end up being smaller even without changing out the implant size. There is no guarantee that a 200cc implant will or will not change your ability to play sports (which sports were not specified), but if this is a significant concern and if you feel that implants are hindering your ability to play and if this is a major concern, you can also consider simply removing the implants altogether and just perform a breast lift.Regardless of your choices, consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon (or two) to get some additional opinions and face to face evaluations. Good luck!

Answer: Downsizing implants It is not reasonable to just choose an implant size/volume when going smaller than it is to just pick an implant size/volume when putting them in for the first time. In general, it is simple to decrease the forward volume (profile) of the implant if you are not already at the lowest profile, but you can't decrease the diameter of the implant by more than about a half cm as it will not fill out the capsule and breast base properly. If you do a true lift (not just moving the nipple-areola position) at the same time, you might be able to decrease the diameter of the implant a bit more as the sides of the breast are brought in a bit with a true lift. Doing a lift at the time of an implant exchange involves altering a number of factors and is harder to predict the result just as doing an augmentation at the same time as a lift is difficult to balance all the factors changing and control the result. You might want to consider just changing the implant to a lower profile or just doing the lift and not altering the implant.
