Wanting revision rhinoplasty. Will my nose be flexible when the implant is taken out and my cartilage is used? (Photo)

I would recommend removal of the implant and using rib cartilage/diced cartilage/fascia to create a more proper contour based on the results you are seeking. I would recommend finding a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with experience in complex rhinoplasty issues. This surgeon ideally has also completed a fellowship accredited by the Aesthetic Society.

Based on your profile photo you appear to have a pollybeak. This is when the bridge of the nose protrudes from the face further than the nasal tip. It is not clear whether or not this is where your implant lays. To best answer your question, please consult with several reputable rhinoplasty specialist so you could see how best to move forward. Based on your photographs, you would benefit from a revision rhinoplasty with complete removal of the silicone implant, and dorsal hump reduction, slight tip elevation, and tip refinement. The long-term result would be a softer, less stiff tip as well. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
