Hi AHall626, Thank you for your questions regarding your VASER liposuction results of the bra strap rolls, back, and lower thighs.  Since you are only 48 hours from your VASER liposuction, it is way too early to tell anything. Since you are so soon after your VASER liposuction, I believe the swelling hasn't even started.  It is very important that you follow up with your plastic surgeon. My VASER liposuctionpatients wear their garment for a minimum of six weeks. Lymphatic massage can help to decrease some of the swelling after VASER liposuction.  In addition, arnica pills and arnica tea can decrease some of the swelling after VASER liposuction.  Itching with antibiotic is common. This indicates you probably have an allergy to the antibiotic dispensed.  I would suggest you notify your plastic surgeon about potentially discontinuing your antibiotics. Please check with your plastic surgeon regarding the use of heat or ice. I do not use heat or ice for my VASER liposuction.  If you have any areas that are numb, heat can cause a burn whereas ice can cause frostbite.  In my busy VASER practice, I have seen both of these complications in several of my patients who have not followed my strict post-operative VASER liposuction instructions. Please be patient and wait the full six weeks before you pass judgment on your VASER liposuction.  You can't expect your final results in just 48 hours. 48 hrs is too soon to see results, esp with the back bra roll.  You will need to be very patient with this area, I hope your surgeon had advised you with all this prior to procedure.   I would add lymphatic massages to help decrease the swelling and external RF treatments to help the skin tighten. The final results will not be apparent until 4-6 months post procedure.If you fever persist, please see your surgeon as you could develop a small skin infection.

Thank you for providing photos for reference. 48 hours after surgery is too soon for pain and discomfort to completely go away because some swelling and bruising may persist. It varies greatly between patients. Final #results can usually be seen 2-4 months later as the swelling continues to diminish and contours become more defined, but improvement will continue for 4–6 months as swelling and irregularities resolve. These contours can even improve throughout the year after surgery. 
Also, be sure that you follow your surgeon’s instructions as to caring for yourself during #recovery (such as wearing garments or lymphatic massage), but if you have any concerns at all about your healing process, do not hesitate to contact your surgeon.

If the fever persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question, at 8 days post op is very normal to have large amount of edema.  Compression garments help to minimize the edema.  Please be careful with applying heat of any kind to a surgical area.  Your sensation is altered and heat can very easily cause a burn.  Consult with your doctor on the type of antibiotic you are taking and the side effects.  Always consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Please let your physician know that you are having itching with the antibiotic because that likely indicates an allergic reaction.  I would recommend that you discuss with him/her stopping that antibiotic and changing to another one as soon as possible.As far as the results go, it's hard to determine what your back looks like from the pictures.  If that is bruising in the post-picture, that is very normal and expected.  However, if it is redness, it should be evaluated, especially if it is warm to the touch.I tell my patients they will look worse for about two weeks after the procedure because of swelling.  Somewhere around 2-4 weeks, most patients start to see a difference and, usually around 8 weeks, patients are loving the results.  However, final results are not seen for about 6 months.I hope this helps.
