When will the swelling go down after Vaser lipo?

This is completely normal for that time period.
If you are wearing the garment and having massage this will slowly reduce.
In the first few weeks you tend to retain water (hence the swelling) and thus your weight will not reduce, but sometimes increase.
Be patient and adhere to the aftercare instructions. If worried go see your surgeon.

Swelling with resulting increased weight due to water is expected post op. Everyone heals differently but several weeks to months are normal for it to subside.Close follow up with your plastic surgeon is recommended.

Many studies indicate that there is less injury to the body with Vaser than with traditional #liposuction. Recovery from Vaser Liposuction is based on the level of soreness and bruising experienced by the patient. But, it can vary among patients. As with traditional liposuction, there are no large incisions  or effect on the muscle and other underlying tissue. Therefore, #healing time may be less than anticipated by most. Therefore, Vaser patients may experience less #pain or discomfort, #swelling (#edema) and bruising post procedure due to the nature of the technique.  Swelling is not uncommon. Gentle #walking may increase circulation and help to alleviate swelling. But you must not strain or push yourself. Also, if you were provided a post-procedure #garment, be sure you are wearing it until prescribed otherwise by your doctor. The purpose of the post-procedure #garment is to provide some gentle #support and to reduce swelling. If it feels too tight or causes pain, take it off. Many patients wear the #elastic garment for several weeks after procedures, as directed by their doctor; some choose to wear it longer for several months for comfort.The final results of the procedure are typically most noticeable 2-4 months following the #Vaser. So, you must have patience. The swelling will gradually diminish while the contours of the treated area(s) can continue to improve up to one year post procedure; becoming more apparent in appearance. If you have concerns about your healing, or pain that you question to be unusual, it is important to call your plastic surgeon to discuss these further asked to be examined.

I tell all my patients to not get on the scaled post op for a period of 4-6 weeks.  The tumescent solution and swelling that occurs will increase your weight post op!  This can be alarming for patients, but 8-10 weeks your weight should normalize, continue with a good diet post op and trust the process.  Close follow up with your surgeon is advised.  I also have all my patients get lymphatic massages to help manually decrease the swelling!  Hope this helps

Swelling can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. I tell my patients that they will look worse for at least two weeks and sometimes longer after Vaser Liposuction.  Swelling and bruising are a very normal, and to be expected, side effect.  Somewhere between 2 and 4 weeks after the procedure, most people start to notice improvement.  Around 6 - 8 weeks, most people are loving the results.  However, final results are not seen until about 6 months after the lipo.Best of luck to you.

No matter any the of liposuction techniques used it is the surgeon preforming the operation NOT the techniques. If no result by 10 days than must determine you had poor surgical skill set in your lipo.
