Answer: Swelling after Liposuction & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen Yes, swelling is typical and can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Answer: Swelling after Vaser Lipo I tell my patients that they should plan on looking worse (meaning very swollen and bruised) for about two weeks. Somewhere around 2 weeks, most people start to notice improvement and by around weeks 4 - 6, most people are thrilled with their results. It is way too early for you to be concerned about swelling. In fact, if you had no swelling at this point, I would have been worried!
