I had vaser lipo done by Dr. Garcia in November 2018. I'm only 2 weeks a post op and I already look amazing. The healing process is no joke. The worst is the itchiness. Moisturize, moisturize. AAAA+..
Consultation with Dr. Garcia is an educational experience. You must allocate minimum 60 minutes of your time to hear all the information from Dr. Garcia about your particular condition and his recommendations. I had consulted with another Dr. and had already scheduled another appointment, which I cancelled and picked a surgery day as soon as the consultation with Dr. Garcia was over. Dr. Garcia possesses a wealth of knowledge, experience, ethics, professionalism, and many more good traits hard to find all in one person. He advised on the procedure I needed, and what realistic results to expect, recovery time, and so on. After surgery and during the recovery process I had no pain, but a lot of discomfort as I was told. This is a serious and long procedure that should be only trusted to qualified plastic surgeons like Dr. Garcia. The facility is impeccable, fully equipped, and meets all Florida regulations. The staff is awesome. Kudos to their qualified nurses and anesthesiology (sorry can't remember their names). I'm extremely happy with the results even though the healing process is not 100% complete.
Dr. Onelio Garcia is a great surgeon and doctor. I am a post bariatric patient. I lost 150lbs after gastric bypass surgery in 2010. I have undergone a tummy tuck (2012), brachioplasty (2016), BBL (2017), and lastly a thigh lift 4/18/2018. All of my other procedures were with another doctor, but I chose to go with Dr. Garcia for my thigh lift due to his recommended treatment of a Vaser lipo assisted thigh lift to attain the best results. I am so happy with my results thus far and I was told that I won’t see the full results for 12 weeks. I can finally feel confident in a bikini! My thighs were very fatty/saggy and this procedure removed fat through Vaser lipo which allowed for more skin to be removed from the thigh without having to perform a vertical thigh lift. Dr. Garcia also has great bedside manners and is accommodating for his out of town patients. He saw me on a Sunday to remove my drains before I departed for my return trip home. I had a bilateral breast reduction done on July 27, 2015. i went from a 42DDD to a large C cup. This was a great experience. Isa the nurse in the office is very nice and informative. I know I drove her crazy with all my questions, but she was comforting through-out this experience. Dr. Garcia is the Best!!!!
I had several procedures done at once - mini-face-lift, eye lid surgery, tummy tuck and Breast Augmentation. I was very nervous about getting any work done on my face and eyes, until I met Dr. Garcia. I can understand that you prefer to avoid the scar. With your underwear at that level it is impossible to see if you have a lower abdominal crease. If it is possible for you to lose the weight, then you should delay your decision until you've completed your weight loss in order to have an accurate assessment of how loose your abdominal skin is. Also keep in mind that sometimes its not either or. In certain cases you can combine lipo with a limited tummy tuck to get you the most ideal results. This is called lipoabdominoplasty and in the appropriate patient can achieve amazing results. What you don't want to do is push the envelope on lipo at the expense of loose skin. Ideally you do not want to trade some fat for loose skin.
Thank you for your question, you should be as close as possible to your goal weight, to obtain the best results long term. BBL or (Fat transfer to the Gluteus) requires not having any pressure to the grafted area for 6 weeks. If you are having a tummy tuck and breast surgery, next to impossible to accomplish no pressure to the fat grafted area. Always consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
Thank you for your question and photos, it is normal for some skin retraction to be present after any liposuction, massaging your skin aggressively may help with some of the skin contraction, also extending your neck back and massaging with a moisturizer. Any revision at 4 weeks post op is too soon.
Thank you for your question, it is not uncommon to see forearm edema post op brachioplasty. Elevating your arms over a pillow may help. Also try opening and closing your hands it may help with the edema. If you are going to wrap the forearm portion, strongly suggest to be done by your physician.
The elasticity of the skin decreases as you get older, not a lot that can be done, but for sure, keeping your skin moist with a skin lotion may help over time with the appearance.
