At age 46, you are absolutely a great age for a Brazilian Butt Lift. I have performed this procedure on many women in their 60's with great results.A couple of years ago, I analyzed my last 100 patients to find out the average statistics on my patients. The average age was determined to be 37 YO, so you can see that this is not just a procedure for women in their 20's! You can read more about it in the link below. Good luck!Ricardo L Rodriguez, MD
Dear gbaby, Fat injection to the butts ( brazilian butt lift ) is a waste of time, money and dreams. It sound like a great idea, transferring your own fat from one area to the other, however, the sad reality is that the fat does not survive beyond 6 - 12 months. I have seen many patients who came to my surgery center for butt implants after being disappointed from the fat injection procedure that was done by other surgeons. Think about it, if fat injection would have been consistent and reliable, breast implants would have disappeared from the market or their number would have been reduced dramatically. Last year breasts augmentation with implants was the number one cosmetic surgery in the US... Physiologically, large amounts of fat injection makes no sense, because you can't expect the fat to survive without good circulation. Your best and only option is butt implants. They do not disappear and when done correctly, they look and feel very natural. They look very attractive and can give you the famous 'S' curve. Due your due diligence because there are different techniques and the implants come in different shape, size and softeness. In my opinion, the best technique is subfascial pocket and the best implant is ultra soft, oval round. Consult with board certified plastic surgeons who do lots of butt implants surgery in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures tomake sure that theyare are numerous, consistent and attractive. Check also the 'realself' reviews for positive patients experience which provides important information on the surgeons. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Thanks for your question. As long as you are in good health and have no medical issues, your age will not prevent you from having the brazilian butt lift. Be sure to choose a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and does at least 6-8 per week. Best of luck
Age by itself will not prevent you from having the surgery, and I have done the procedure for women in their seventies. The price and quality of result will vary tremendously. Find a BBL expert who performs hundreds of BBLs each year and has great reviews and great before and after pictures.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Yes they do!! There is no age limit for plastic surgery, it all depends on your current health condition and your lab tests. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
You are 46 years young! As long as your are healthy, you could be a candidate for the BBL procedure. Please see a board certified PS to learn more about your options. Best wishes.
I have done Brazilian butt lifts on patients in their 60s. Remember this is a procedure that can be adjusted to the patient. You can use as little or as much fat as you like to get the desired look the patient wants. Natural looks can be obtained, you do not have to have an exaggerated result if that is not what you want. Some people just may want indentation to be smooth and that can be done there is no rule as to how much change you have to make. The reality of the procedure is the liposuction is really the key to the procedure the fat injection is really the secondary part of the procedure.
A brazilian butt lift can be done for almost any age. I have treated many patients in their 40's who desire a rounder firmer buttock. Good luck.
Thank you for your question. As long as you are healthy, it is possible to do a brazillian butt lift at 46. It is not at all uncommon in practices that perform this procedure commonly. The most important issue is to determine whether you are a good candidate for the procedure from an anatomic point of view. See the video link listed below for further information. Best wishes!
It is certainly possible for people of your age to undergo a BBL procedure; rather than age, your overall health is a more important factor in determining if you are a good candidate for a BBL. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon in person for the best advice.
Without seeing photos or evaluating you in person, it is difficult to answer your questions. You should be close to your goal weight before undergoing this procedure, but it may not be necessary for you to lose a significant amount of weight prior to a BBL. Find a board certified plastic surgeon...
