I appreciate your question. It depends on your chest wallmeasurements and existing breast tissue as implant size does not accuratelycorrelate to a bra size. It also depends on the brand and style of brayou wear as size varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. The best way to assess and give trueadvice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plasticsurgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The best way to answer this question is to seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon. He or she will examine your breasts and at that time give you a better estimate of sizing. However, keep in mind that bra cup sizes vary from one manufacturer to another. Best of luck to you!
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately there is no way to exactly correlate a particular cc size with a bra cup size as each bra manufacturer uses different cup measurements, and because each woman's frame is different affecting how the implant will sit on the chest. Best to focus more on the overall size and shape of your breasts trying implants on in the office or another sizing system. This will give you a more accurate representation of your results, which you will then fit a bra to when you are healed. Hope this helps.
It is impossible to say what your final cup size will be. However, keep in mind that cup size is not a good indicator of actual breast volume as they vary so much between bra manufactures. Which is why I always encourage mu patients to think about the "look" they want to achieve. If you haven't already done so, try out the 450cc and the 475cc and see if you like the way that they look.My best, Dr. Sheila Nazarian @drsheilanazarian on Instagram
It is important to realize that the ultimate breast size and shape depend upon so very many variables. A 300 cc implant on a petite woman with a thin frame may look quite large, but that same implant in an overweight woman may be barely noticeable. Size and shape of the result depend upon the volume of the implant, the shape of the implant, if it is over or under the muscle, your skin and its resilience, stretch marks, the degree of breast sagging, chest circumference, amount and distribution of the natural breast tissue, etc. For this reason, it is impossible to give reliable advice based simply upon height and weight, or even photos. The only way to approach reliable predictions is with an in-person examination with a board certified plastic surgeon, the use of sizers, 3-D imaging, and most importantly, relying upon the skill, expertise, and experience of your chosen Board-Certified Plastic surgeon.Best of luck!Dr. SubbioBoard-Certified Plastic SurgeonNewtown Square/Philadelphia, PA
I appreciate your concern, because size does matter when seeking a natural looking result in breast augmentation. I ask my patients to bring in photos of breasts the size they desire, because there can otherwise be confusion because B or C cup can vary greatly by brassiere manufactures! I also utilize the implant in the bra technique, with several different implant sizes with a tighter fitting T-shirt to get an idea of what you will look like. Finally, I prefer to meet with my breast implant patients at least twice before surgery, so I am confident that I know exactly what her desires regarding shape and size are. I then have several sized implants in the patient's desired range available in the OR to allow me to tailor the operation to her needs. Be certain your surgeon understands your desires and you should do great as this operation carries a very high satisfaction rate. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. The final look an implant will give is dependent on a lot of different factors. Skin elasticity, breast tissue composition, and shape of the device are just a few. I utilize the Vectra 3-d imaging system in my office to help my patients see how different implant can affect the look of their breasts. For me and my patients this has been an invaluable tool to assist patients with this decision and to go into surgery with more confidence about their choice of implant size. Good luck and let me know if I can help.
You can answer this question yourself by going to the plastic surgeon's office and using a good sizing system. This will tell you how a given volume implant will translate into a cup size.
Hi,Thanks for posting your question. I am happy to try and help you. There is really no way to accurately predict what size you would like withoutan examination. During your examination and consultation, you should try onsome sample sizes and see what you are comfortable with. This is an accurateapproximation of what you would get. If in doubt, go up one size from the oneyou like. Then the PS can help explain with the size and current condition ofyour breasts the effects of those sized implants will have on you. If you have accomplished this step, then trust your plastic surgeons advice asto what would be the best size for you. They have the experience. If you areuncomfortable, go on another consultation.Best wishes,Dr. Michael J. Brown Northern Virginia Breast Augmentation
It is very difficult to predict cup size from implant volumes used because bras do not match up. As far as a guess, it could bump you up to a D or larger.
I appreciate your question. The size of implant best for you is dictated by your chest wall measurements. Once we determine that we can choose the profile based on what you want or need to achieve. If you are seeking a natural look, then the diameter of the implant should be equal to or,...
It is quite common for each breast to heal/drop at a different rate. And 3 weeks post op is still really early in your recovery. For now, be patient and let your body recover. At 6 months, if you are still unhappy, speak with your surgeon about revision options. My best,Dr. Sheila...
Thank you for your question. Constipation can occur following surgery due to anesthesia and post operative pain medication. I recommend over the counter Miralax or milk of magnesia.
