Previously 36DD, now about one cup smaller. Please advise whether breast augmentation would make my areola placement “appear” in a more ideal (lower) position? Or would repositioning the areola be the only other option or shortening the vertical scar? Symmetry is fine; however when I wear some types of bras my nipples are literally spilling over the top. I am not keen on having larger breasts again, but now I am insecure.

It would be best to speak with your surgeon to find out their opinion on the matter, since each surgeon has their own pre-operative guidelines. There is a good chance that you will be asked to refrain from taking any type of substance containing marijuana for a period before surgery.

You need to discuss this with your surgeon. Every surgeon has his/her own policy about revision surgery. I always clarify the size of implants with my patients prior to surgery in the preop visit and they initial the size to be used. If for some reason, the implant is on backorder, I always...
