How can I fix my premature jowls and small chin? My skin seems very lax and face lacks definition. (photos)

You are a great candidate for a genioplasty (chin augmentation). Not only would this give you a stronger chin and more defined jawline, it would help to improve jowling as well. A genioplasty would improve your profile and overall facial balance.

Based on your photos it looks like you can benefit from a chin implant, and possibly fat grafting and/or face lift. This all depends on your age and your expectations.

You're correct that the loose skin in your jaw area is partially a result of poor chin support. At this time the main issue is the lack of support, and your skin has not yet stretched to a significant amount. It will be premature to do a facelift. I would recommend geneoplasty. This will give additional support by advancing your chin and tighten the surrounding skin. It will also give better balance in the profile side view of your face.

Thanks for sharing your photos. They are helpful in identifying your issues of concern. Consider your facial skin like a dress with shoulder pads for cheeks and your skull and jaws like a dress hanger. If the hanger is too small for the dress, it cannot properly balance and fill the dress out. Your options are to modify or add to the dress hanger and your dress may become more harmonious and filled properly OR you may consider adding more padding in areas of the dress itself.

The photographs from the side profile demonstrate an overly projecting nose, and an under projecting chin. Consider placement of a chin implant to augment the chin forward for better facial balance and proportions, especially with respect to the overall projection of the Chin from the side profile. Also consider a closed rhinoplasty which can accomplish reduction of the projection of your nose, shaving down the dorsal hump, refinement of the nasal tip and narrowing of the bridge line with all the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. In our practice, it's very common to perform a rhinoplasty and chin implant combination together under one anesthesia with one recovery period.
