I had ultherapy treatment 2.5 weeks ago and still track marks have not healed? (Photos)

Question

I still have the track marks. I am afraid that these track marks will not go away. They look like lines along my jawline and also with little dots. I am taking remicade infusions. I am very upset that it is taking so long to heal as Makeup does not cover up the tracks. What can I do to speed up the skin to return to normal. In natural light you can see the lines are standing out and form a track on the skin and are raised. I hope you can see in the pictures.

Ultherapy is a great device especially in combination with microneedling/PRP or sculptra to get increased collagen and tightening. I have never seen a bad outcome from ultherapy in my hands. I suggest consulting with an expert.  Scarring is virtually impossible with ultherapy.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hello, and thank you for your questions and your photo. You are only several weeks following her procedure and I personally have not seen any patients that have any long-term scarring. I would recommend just continued observation and follow up with her treating physician. Best of luck with your continued recovery.

Raised "track marks" are common with Ultherapy if the 1.5mm Transducer is used. The great news is that the raised areas will go away on their own. We apply ice immediately after we treat an area using the 1.5mm transducer to minimize the occurrence of the lines but it can still happen.
