What is this hard lump under my areola, 2 weeks post op gynecomastia surgery?

i had gynecomastia surgery 2 weeks ago, and now have a hard lump under my right areola where the incision was(lipo and excision). I went out of town for surgery so i cant go and see my him personally. I did NOT have drains put in me. im not sure what to do i see a lot of conflicting reports that its scar tissue(some say its to early) or if it is a hardened seroma as i was leaking quite a bit of fluid out from that side right after the surgery and the following days.

Thank you for the photo.  It is not uncommon to develop tethering down of the tissues to the muscle after gynecomastia surgery.  Massaging should help.  And this should improve over time.  If it doesn't it is rather easy to improve with a small procedure in the office under local anesthesia.  Fo...

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  In most cases gynecomastia removal will be under 500cc's with the vast majority under 250. Your removal was indeed extensive.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your question.  It sounds as if you may a condition termed pseudogynecomastia - an abnormal accumulation of only adipose tissue and not gland.  This can often be treated by liposuction alone, or you can return to working out.  Hope this helps.
