Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  In most cases gynecomastia removal will be under 500cc's with the vast majority under 250. Your removal was indeed extensive.  Hope this helps.

It all depends on how much is there and what zones are treated and what your BMI is. In your case you had rather significant gynecomastia. You are certainly smaller. My experience is that men want things to be really flat without the appearance of a breast, even if it is a lot smaller.
I would suggest that you get your BMI where it is supposed to be then re evaluate the situation then. It's possible that a secondary procedure can be performed to really lay things out nicely depending on the quality of your skin and your expectations.

Congratulations on what will likely prove to be an amazing result and experience for you. Your volumes of liposuction and gland excision are much larger than typical for gynecomastia in general, but given your preop photo those numbers aren't out of the norm. A larger degree of gynecomastia leads to larger volumes. Most patients (95%) have less initial breast volumes than you do and that other few percentage may have more. Good luck with a great result.
