I’m 45 and would like to do anti aging lip filler but my upper lip points Out a bit in the middle & I haven’t loved the results previously . My lips have no filler now . I’d like a lip lift look - is this possible with filler? What would the technique be called if so?
Answer: Improving Lip Symmetry and Lift with Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), PDO Nova threads, implants fat These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape as well as provide lift. Implants or fat are alternatives. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Lip Augmentation Better Option than Lip eatsleepmove. First off, the shape of your lips is extremely attractive, so you need to consult with an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Placed in the right region of your lips, it can make your upper lip appear shorter and lips fuller. A win/win situation. Best of luck.

Answer: Lip augmentation Dear eatsleepmove,I perform a lot of lip injections with fillers such as juvederm and it works great. Many times I need to put more in one side than the other to attempt to even out the vermillion border (The red line of the lip). This helps provide more symmetry at times. Another Option: For patients looking for a more long lasting result, I recommend fat grafting. That is, using your own bodies fat to make your lips naturally look more shapely. The bonus is that the results last many many years. In general, I avoid using permanent prosthesis because I find that the lips are such dynamic and sensitive structures, the end result is not natural.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Less invasive treatment than lip lifts Since lip fillers are non-surgical, they are a much less invasive treatment than lip lifts. The goalof lip fillers is to provide natural volume to your lips. However, injectiontechnique and choice of correct filler product, can produce a lifted look tothe lip, without providing an undesirable over-projected look. I wouldrecommend also injecting the Cupid’s bow area and philtrum to reduce thedistance between the nostril base and the lip.

Answer: Lip filler treatment Honestly, you are starting with nice looking lips. I would recommend treatment with hyaluronic acid based filler like Restylane Refyne if you are looking to add a little volume to the lips and to evert the lips.
