Hi! Breast typically will fall to the side when laying flat. I often recommend to my patients that they wear a bra at night to help support the breasts and prevent droop.
Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. Often, breasts fall slightly outward when laying down as volume will shift with gravity. I recommend my patients wear a soft, supportive bra at night to reduce this somewhat. All the best
Hi there, Thank you for your question. It is normal for your breasts to fall laterally when laying down. Your rib cage is not a flat plate, therefore your breasts will tend to fall to the side. Speak with your surgeon about your concern. Best, realdrsix
It is normal for big breasts to fall to the side when a woman lies down. That is just gravity. Nothing to worry about.
If your breast implants are falling off your chest and into your armpits while on your back, that's one thing. That doesn't appear to be the case from your photos. From your photos, it appears as if you're experiencing what women with naturally fuller/bigger breasts go through everyday. It is normal for breasts with any type of mass to them to fall to the sides when laying on the back. This is also a normal sequelae of getting larger implants. The ribcage has a rounded shape, not flat, so breasts slide along the curvature of the ribcage. If your implanted breasts stayed pointing straight up to sky while on your back (like Barbie breasts), it would likely be a result of capsular contracture. Breasts that look like that are often referred to as "bolt-ons" due to their unnatural, hardened appearance. Capsular contraction is when scar tissue forms in the chest cavity and tightens around the implants making the breast hard and unnatural looking. Furthermore, it appears as if your native breasts were more laterally positioned with a big space in the middle before the implants came into the picture. Breast augmentation does not change the breast "footprint" on your chest. A low breast will stay low. A wide space will stay wide. A woman with a lot of space between her breasts will only get that "cleavage" with the help of a bra/bikini top.
Thank you for your question. What you are experiencing is called "lateral displacement" which occurs when the breast implant pocket is too large in the implant slide out to the side. Correction of lateral displacement and requires a surgical procedure to make the breast implant pocket smaller. It is important to understand that the appearance of the ideal breast that you show requires an uplift bra or bikini top. Breast implants always drop and cannot maintain a pushup position.
Hello and thank you for your excellent question. If your implants are moving laterally off of your chest when you are laying down, you can consider a revision with internal bra, or changing the implants. Of course, you will need an in-person consultation to evaluate you for this procedure. Preoperative visualization and surgical simulation with the Crisalix system may help with your decision. Any treatment plan should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation in person with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck! Singulair and Accolate are asthma drugs that are used "off-label" to potentially decrease the risk of capsular contracture. However, there are no true studies that support this. Only personal accounts that suggest it may help. The prescription indicates that your physician believes you are at...
Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure. The abdominal bloating could be due to constipation from the pain medication and fluid retention from surgery. I would recommend calling your surgeon to discuss your concerns. Best of luck!
I think the main issue with the site of incision is how predictable the scar is and how visible it is. Scars in the inframmary fold can be very acceptable but often are not. And despite popular belief it is quite exposed area - naked women often are viewed from under the breast angle. Armpit ...
